Are the Molle panels on the back of the front seats only available on the Rubicon trim? I have a Willys on order and am wondering if it will have those or not.
Thanks in advance.

If you don't get them you are not really missing out. They are not a properly spaced Molle configuration and they don't hold very much weight. If overloaded the panels pull away from the seat back.

Agreed. I don’t know why they didn’t put true molle spacing. The weight thing I could be fine with but attaching basic small things is a pain because of the spacing.

I haven’t seen on the bronco if theirs is removable but it would be really cool if they made the panel removable with 4 corner screws so you could easily attach whatever you wanted and then reattach.

The clips were updated: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...panel-slipping-down.31470/page-2#post-1714852

Also I find them useful:
I found that when mall crawling, I didn't have enough cup holders. These are Rothco MOLLE bottle carriers.

They do not, they have a standard seat back "pocket" that's about the size of a laptop. I ended up getting a setback MOLLE panel on amazon that worked better than the OEM one that came with my new Rubi. I actually still have them if you want them (just pay shipping) although it may be cheaper to get new ones with prime shipping.
Do you have a link to what you ordered?

This, however I did find a few bags of different sizes at Academy Sports...Off brand of course. Name brand like 5.11 and Mil-Spec won't work.

It would be nice for the aftermarket to come up with something better and stronger.

The seat back panel is ok, I have a Warn epic pouch on each in mine and some replica Mopar ones in my wife’s. I can’t say I’ve studied the back of a non-Rubicon seat but is it possible to buy the Rubicon panel and add it?

2 Things:
I don’t use mine…kind of useless on a 2 Door and they aren’t spec. I would honestly rather have a smooth seatback with pockets like the old Sahara TJs.
Does anyone know when those clips were upgraded?
