Tabs on back seat

Sorry it’s not more detailed. On my 2dr behind the driver and passenger seat near the wall there are metal loops that look like door latches. What are those? And what are the Velcro straps on the back of the seat for? I’ve looked and looked through my owners manual.

My buddy with a 25 Sport uses those metal hoops to attach the velcro straps to when the seat is folded up so it doesn't flop around. Not sure if that's their intended purpose, but it seems to work.

Are they the loops for a child seat attachment?

The silver metal loops on the side panels are to hold the rear seat when folded up with the long Velcro straps that are on the back of the seat. I keep my rear seat folded up 95% of the time, but I won't remove it because once in a great while I have to take an extra passenger with me.

This is exactly what they are for. It's in the manual somewhere.

Yes, when folded, use the Velcro and the hoops, this was finally a great cheap thing they added, years ago, we used bungee cords or rods( like adjustable shower rods) or a cooler, to hold the folded up seat in place. These work very well if you are not going to actually remove the seat. Flip the seat, wrap the Velcro around, done!

Here are the pics of the loops he is referring to (where the bungee cords are attached). As said before they are for securing the rear seats when folded forward.
