This should exclude diesel, XR, 392, 4xe (basically anything with the tall bump stops).

I thought that it could be for weight with the batteries and v-8 and diesel and then there’s rubicon model that throws all that out idk

I was told by a co-worker here in FL that this is done by gay male drivers to “present” themselves and tell other fellow high front truck/Jeep drivers that they are gay. Kind of the same as how certain jail culture of wearing their pants past their butt to tell other inmates they are available.

It's actually looks quite consistent.

You can't see if the steering wheel angle is changing. The wheels are loaded, the distance between the pitman arm is changing, the steering wheel will be spinning while the wheels point straight.
