My blood boils for you. My last communication with the dealership was about them pricing the parts and installation of the items out at $1823. Granted, I did not ask them to do this. Their response was, "you are still receiving a great deal" on the vehicle. Umm, that's not the deal I agreed...
Tavares is honestly the worst thing to come out of Stellantis. So many in the customer base are unhappy, from the Jeep crowd to the Challenger/ Charger crowd.
I’m looking at maybe a Bronco, X5, or Model Y now that I’ve wasted four months of my life dealing with Jeep.
Okay, everyone I have an update. Jeep "Doesn't" Care as we all know. Here's the response I received from them on the hitch and switches issue:
My name is Rohini from Jeep Information Center. We appreciate the chance to respond to your inquiry and our main goal is to ensure your satisfaction...
It's not State Farm, it's the state you are moving to and risk. Insurance is legislated by each state individually and coverage varies. I am a licensed P&C agent across the country and the best advise I can give you is to keep shopping. Insurance as a whole really sucks right now and carriers...
You’re very welcome. We’re all on here to help each other out and I’m really glad you were able to get your order in with necessary equipment.
Fingers crossed Stellantis/ Jeep doesn’t pull anymore shenanigans like this in the future, further causing more headaches.
Not necessarily...it basically means I didn't want to be bothered with Jeep's shenanigans. The case is still open, but after dealing with botched recall repairs on my 2021 for almost a year and a settlement. It wasn't worth my time and I can still do what I need to do with my original order...
Oh, you're not bugging me. So I originally had ordered a High Altitude, but changed my mind and switched to the Rubicon X. The High Altitude is still at the dealership so I am opting to take delivery of this unit instead. I originally ordered it with the tow package so it definitely has the...
I guess we’re going to find out tomorrow if they will rectify the situation. I was outside mowing the lawn when the email came through.
In an ideal world, I’d like the selling dealer to coordinate with my service dealer in Tempe. I ordered it from Peterson in Idaho.
I don’t think anything...
Nope! Kia isn’t allowed to play. They should focus on their engine immobilization issue instead of trying to be like Jeep. Wait! And shouldn’t Kia be handing out hampsters?!
Jeep's fuckery isn't okay, but I went through the options for the Rubicon 4xe and Rubicon X 4xe over the weekend and highlighted the options that are missing. I understand this to be the same for the pure ICE Rubicon/ Rubicon X as well. See attachment:
I've already put the dealership on notice if this isn't rectified, I won't be taking delivery. Nor, will I be ordering another one of their vehicles. Jeep is dead wrong for this.
