I had these installed on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JLU today and there is a 1/2" gap between the slider and the body at the rear of the slider on the driver side and there is a 3/4" gap between the slider and the body at the rear of the slider on the passenger side. Is this just the way they are designed or is this an installation issue?
@AdventureDad2000 and the rest. The smaller gap up front seems to be an issue @lodoffroad is aware of. They've designed a spacer that goes between the frame and mount to address the issue, you just need to call them and ask for it (I'm waiting for mine).

I had been holding out for the Roam frame mounted sliders due to the larger foot openings, but second thoughts are creeping in. Does anyone have the measurements of the step/foot openings for the Destroyer Sliders? Are they awkward to use?
The foot openings are perfect for entry and exit - my size 13 shoes and boots fit perfectly. The seem right where they need to be for a step up and swing in entry - saves so much wear on the seats. The kids have no troubles hopping in the back. The JL's integrated grab handles help tremendously as well. An added bonus - the destroyers feel like they could hold up against anything.

Installed my Destroyer Sliders today. I’m amazed at their tolerances. The sliders were a tight fit over the washers for the body bolts, but with the proper alignment, they made it perfectly. I haven’t drilled the holes yet as I didn’t have a drill that would clear, so I’ll come back to that.

One of the bolts didn’t screw into the frame. I’ll ping @lodoffroad about that directly. Overall I’m really happy with these.

The website shows these as weighing 60lbs but a previous post (page 3) says each side comes in at 51lbs. Why would the website only weigh one side?

Also how thick is the metal on the sliding edge. No info on this at all?

You guys with them installed are you collecting junk inside the slider? If so is it easy to clean them?

Is ground clearance more or less then the signature series LOD model?

For the JL, each 4Dr slider is approx 51 lbs plus mounting hardware. The mounts are made from a combination of 3/16" and 1/4" steel, the slider body is 10ga. There are also drain holes located in the bottom of the slider to allow mud and water to drain out.

OK so the total on the website should be 102lbs
The mounts are hard core stout stuff
The body it's isnt all that stout. 10 gauge works out to be 9/64's or about 1/8 inch?? it will take a moderate hit but nothing close to major.which isnt a big deal for most users
You didnt answer the ground clearance of it vs the signature

What does the signature weigh?
