I don't have that "refreshing feeling". At 0 miles, my JLUR steered like a 50 year old farm truck with half a turn in the steering before it made any difference. At 34k miles, my 3.6 took a dump. If I wasn't rock crawling, the jeep would be down the road.

Well you did say “we all know” so I guess the rest would just be redundant…and repetitive….repetitive and redundant.

After 16 years of owning Jeeps, If they were that unreliable I wouldn’t still have one.
But I have seen multiple times people who beat the crap out of their Jeeps on road and on trail, don’t to regular maintenance and are the first to complain because they have issues.
Every manufacturer has its problems and you are always gonna have the odd lemon, that’s a given.

I have owned Jeeps since the 70's. First one was a CJ5 Renegade. Mine have all been reliable. None have ever left me stranded. But, they have all been maintained very well.

Is it just me, or is there been a lot of threads pop up lately where the OPs might as well be talking in a foreign language, I just don’t understand half the time, the other half of the time, I think I know what they’re talking about, but not so much….… 🥴

I don’t care about articles, but I haven’t noticed jeeps being any more or less reliable than any other brands… I’ve owned jeeps off and on since late 70s and I’ve owned nearly every brand over the years… I think if you’re spending to much time on these forums, you’ll automatically think they’re shit, as that’s all you read about any more…….

I don't think anyone can say I beat the crap out of mine, nor can anyone say it isn't maintained very well. Owners that have not had trouble, say they are reliable. I have a long list of things I've had to fix on mine, the engine replacement being the latest at 34,454 miles. I'm 68 years old, I don't flog the engine. I have what I'd say is a healthy respect and knowledge of mechanical things, having had a career as an engineer in aerospace. But this thing has tried my patience with its problems. I really enjoy it on trails like the Rubicon and Moab. But if I didn't do those things, I'd be driving something other than a jeep.
