Anyone install Injens High Tuck muffler on a 2.0 yet? Sound clip would be great...
I had the Injen on order and the supplier took 2 months and still couldn't get it for me.. I cancelled it and went with the AFE, the same as above. It was cheaper and it sounds EXACTLY like it does in the posted video. I also agree with his assessment of the throttle and power. I couldn't be happier. Nice throaty sound versus sounding like a Ford Pinto. Not sure what happened, but they used to have 3.6L and 2.0T factory-made video clips on their site for that exhaust. Now there's only the 3rd-party review.
While likely not identical in sound, @ExpeditionBuilds installed the AFE Mach Force-XP high-tuck muffler on his 2.0T, which is very similar in size and design (see vid below). A Savvy high-tuck should also sound similar, but there's even fewer clips of that one.
It's amazing that so many exhaust companies somehow think it's a-okay to sell an expensive product without bothering to make a few decent sound clips. Anyway, let me know if you find that Injen for a decent price!
I really wouldn't mind buying the AFE version instead, especially since it's nearly half the price, but was mostly interested in getting my exhaust components in the higher quality T304 stainless steel since our roads are salted like crazy up here. Also kinda prefer the straight-through design versus AFE's offset inlet/outlet. As far as sound, think the AFE actually sounds a bit better and just slightly more aggressive and burbly than the Injen, probably due to the offset.I had the Injen on order and the supplier took 2 months and still couldn't get it for me.. I have the 3.6L. In the video in the link below you can hear the sound of it at full throttle.2.0? And sound clips?

Most of the noise is from the CAI so if you are looking for a quiet ride, as you probably know, don't get the CAI. I am not sure if the muffler is louder or quieter than stock but does have a more deep tone.

Videos at this link also have some of my muffler noise examples:

Think you can buy the AFE as just an axle-back muffler without changing the midpipe/resonator.Appreciate the links! Was looking for the 2.0 but I'm thinking Injen or AFE might do the trick. On the AFE I might leave out deleting the resonator and just connect after it to keep it quiet.
On the Injen muffler? I thought that one already had the notch cut out for the OEM indexing rivet?I meant to reply to this sooner, but I spiraled down the rabbit hole on my exhaust. I initially installed mine without removing the indexing rivet on the midpipe - which led to the axle back eventually becoming loose. I did recently remove that rivet, but have now come across the exhaust kicking out a kind of odd (worrying, frankly, but I'm probably just being neurotic) burbling on startup and when decelerating and letting off the gas. I'll get a recording a little later - for real this time - but I'm not sure if it's to be expected or a result of a bad baffle internally or what.
Not that I saw, I actually spread the pipe to fit it over the rivet first, but it eventually slipped back off of it.On the Injen muffler? I thought that one already had the notch cut out for the OEM indexing rivet?
