I hope you teach them to drive a MT as well. ??As the owner of the vehicle, one should know how to operate all facets of the vehicle. This is why before my kids were permitted to drive they had to have read the owner’s manual, show me how to operate all the functions and features of the vehicle, how to check the fluids, how to change a tire, change the battery, etc. My younger two will have to do the same for all our vehicles. I’ve already downloaded the owner’s manual for our ‘22 Wrangler that hasn’t been built yet so I’m familiar with its operation & features before I drive it. There honestly is no excuse for not understanding how your vehicle operates.
But as stated it wouldn’t surprise me if someone got stuck in their Jeep, as sad as that is.
