You can engage the lockers in 4hi using the off-road+. Turn in on, disable stability control by holding the button for it down until it turns off. Then you can engage lockers and disconnect the sway bar in 4hi. I'm sure there are vids on youtube showing the process.
Didn't say it was. I was thinking of the 3-row concept they made, which is a Wrangler and they consider off-road. The defender only gotme thinking of if they would market and produce the concept for tour vehicles or overlanding.
All the people shouting that the Grand Wagoneer fits what I was pondering are missing the point. I don't consider that to be an off-road vehicle. Also, to the point, I do not want or advocate a longer Wrangler. I drive a 2 dr manual, so clearly what I want doesn't drive the market.
Did you see the commercial? They drove across ROCKS... well big gravel. But, I wasn't thinking for rock crawling. I was actually thinking about the initiative they announced for EVs combined with the longer wheelbase/storage for overlanders. They could have all the electrical connections...
I saw a commercial today for a Defender that sits 8 people. I remember a concept that was shown not that long ago that looked like a Jeep mixed with a Vista Cruiser that had a 3rd row of seating. Do you think that if 3 row offroad SUVs take off that Jeep will manufacture one as well? Will...
What it comes down to is this: is the 2dr for you or the family? My wife has a 4dr and I have a 2dr. While I do only have a small family, we use the 4dr for everything. If it goes into the shop, we will probably have to rent to compensate. The 2dr is more fun to drive, more fun to take...
Ok, that at least eliminates the phones somewhat. From what I gather, the incoming audio is fine (she doesn't hear an issue) and the outgoing is garbled (the other side of the call). Since the issue is one sided, at this point, I would suggest it may be an issue with the microphone in the...
I would assume from your response that these all occurred while the bluetooth was connected to the Jeep. Sound issues are very hard to troubleshoot. Try calling the phone connected to the Jeep, turn off the bluetooth during the call and verify without the connection that the call is clear...
While I am not sure what could be causing it, have you tried initiating the call to the phone connected to the Jeep then disabling the bluetooth on the phone and see if the problem persists? Next, I would try a different bluetooth output. If those are clear, the issue would point to the...
To be fair, I did not add either safety group to my Jeep for that reason. I was honestly surprised that there wasn't a ding or light reminder about the back window, like a trunk open light. But, it did get me to thinking about the current course of vehicle safety features that are being added...
I was driving around today in my field dropping of mulch with my back window up when I realized there was no warning on my dash to alert me that the window was not closed. It got me to thinking of other safety features that should be standard with the Jeeps in this era. Why doesn't my Uconnect...
To answer your first post, I would pick the Ridge Grapplers. I ran them on my F150 and they worked well for me, on-road and in the mud. I am not sure how much wheelbase and weight would affect the way they perform (a lot of reviews complained about slipping in the rain and I never had issues)...
