As the owner of the vehicle, one should know how to operate all facets of the vehicle. This is why before my kids were permitted to drive they had to have read the owner’s manual, show me how to operate all the functions and features of the vehicle, how to check the fluids, how to change a tire, change the battery, etc. My younger two will have to do the same for all our vehicles. I’ve already downloaded the owner’s manual for our ‘22 Wrangler that hasn’t been built yet so I’m familiar with its operation & features before I drive it. There honestly is no excuse for not understanding how your vehicle operates.

But as stated it wouldn’t surprise me if someone got stuck in their Jeep, as sad as that is.
I hope you teach them to drive a MT as well. ??

People have died in their Corvettes not realizing they could simply remove the targa top AND that there is an emergency door release handle located right next to both seats. If only there were something, maybe made of paper, in the glove box that explained all the features of the vehicle…
thanks all, just checking...regarding starving or some other horrible fate, I was just trying to detail it and didn't want to go back the way i came, lol, peace.

Putting my jeep in the enclosed trailer is a hassle. have to bungee the rear window down so it clears the trailer celling but not close it so I can get out! because u can’t open the doors in the trailer. Stupid design. my 79 bronco , K5 Blazer had an inside latch, all my Toyota 4runners also.
Is there enough room to take a door off and keep it in the trunk?

My wife and I slept in the back of our 2 door on a platform that I built to fit there. Designed for this if we got into a lightning storm while camping. It is tight but we are not tall....we had to enter and exit via the front doors....it worked okay...going out the back window might have been easier but no way to open it from inside...did not want to leave it up because water would flow down and drip in.

Both of my older two (18 & 19) first vehicles were manuals. My younger two (13) will learn to drive manuals as well. They get to learn on my 680 hp Corvette :)

Take the roof off and hold it on your back, kick the door handle with your foot.

Do you have any pictures? With the rear seat out and both front seats forward, I might be able to fit a grandkid but me and my wife? We’d have to either soak in the tent or sleep in the front seats of our 2 door….LOL

It's going to take one person to get stuck in their Wrangler. Almost starve or dehydrate. For Jeep to start putting in a door handle on the inside of the tailgate. ?

... not realizing they could just open one of the doors.
You jest, but I was once dispatched to assist a lady locked inside her car. Upon arrival I found her in a panic locked inside her car because her key fob wasn't working. Should have seen her face when I told her to just push the unlock button on the inside of the door!!!

Thanks , Good idea but have a two-door. I thought about taking the door off but it would need to be mounted securely in the trailer to avoid travel damage and space becomes an issue . Occasionally take it with the top off and it was no problem of course. But with all the craziness in the world we’re keeping the hardtop on more and more. Even my Dodge Challenger has a lever in the trunk for me to get out when loading. I need a new trailer with an escape hatch door on the side. Lol

Ah, yeah a two door makes that difficult. A door hanger might not be the worst idea if you don't feel like DIYing an internal door pull.

People never fail to surprise me. When I worked for an ISP we had to run a truck to a client's house because the router needed to be power-cycled (unplugged and re-plugged into the wall socket) and the client said she wasn't 'technical' enough to do that.
