Yes, they're true beadlocks, and putting tires on can be tricky, depending on the tires.
I needed to use clamps to get the bead to stay on the wheel until I installed the ring, but other brands slip right on.
I also had to use spacers in my install because my beads are unusually thick.
I got the ball mount delete version. There is a ball mount behind the mirror itself for exterior cameras, and I didnt need anything mounted to the interior.
The 1" and 20mm options just refer to the diameter of the ball mount itself, and will be determined by what you plan to mount to it
I got my Teraflex Alpha HD hinged tire carrier and Spare mount today and mounted them up immediately. I'm stoked with the fit and finish, and I'm so much more confident in this set up than the OEM tailgate reinforcement.
Yes, I'd remove the shims. The bumpers should be compressed to hold the tire in place. Otherwise you're going to get serious shaking and eventual damage to your tailgate.
I'm running 35" Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs on KM236 Tank beadlocks (over 120lbs) with the Mopar reinforcement. I have squeaking and slight flex in my tailgate. The Teraflex unit above is on the way to me now.
The fact that I can't use my rear parking sensors with my spare currently is another...
The Teraflex has holes to the right of the tire carrier (above and to the right of the mounting bolt holes) that are there for mounting things like Hi-Lift jacks and CB antennas. They sell additional mounting hardware depending on your use case.
That's par for the course for the last couple of years my friend. I'm also Canadian, and ordered in October of 2020, got mine in May 2021. American orders were taking 2-4 weeks from order to delivery at that point.
You have 2 packages in your build that will GREATLY slow things down.
The LED...
The article explains that the 6.8 seconds was the Magneto 1.0, and the 2 seconds is for the Magneto 2.0. Both are unverifiable claims at this point, but definitely faster than I'd want to accelerate in my lifted brick!!
They're XL RokBlokz.
I ordered them through my dealer about mid-February. I picked them up last week. I'm in Canada too, which usually slows things WAY down.
I gave them the 4 part numbers, and shockingly they were all correct!
