I want to wheel the old school way, open diffs or lockers but BLD interferes. It is too quick and doesn't let me get stuck, it pounces on spinning wheels. Is it possible to disable it?

No. It cannot be disabled.
Well, it can be disabled by cutting the right wire(s), but most people aren't willing to live with the rather severe ramifications. That'd require gonads of a size similar to those lugged around by @Tredsdert.

No, I won't cut wires 😄 I was just hoping Tazer could change it

Tazer WILL disable it. With your Tazer connected and running "live" functions, at a stop, press and hold the Traction Control button until the dash lights up like a Christmas Tree. Your ABS will stop functioning, and your "BRAKE" light will illuminate, and you will have no more ESC, ABS, or TC

You can do all the wheel spinning, doughnut making you want.

To reset the ABS/ESC/TC you just need to turn off the Jeep and restart.

If you have a Tazer, you should read the instructional packet that comes with it. It will explain how to disable these features

Light up like a Christmas tree?

Have you ever done this yourself? Or are you just guessing what happens?

Here you go, I filmed you a video of some possible options for off-roading.

To add to what Greg said, all Wrangler models have BLD - which the owner’s manual calls ”brake limited differential.”

What I think is odd about the manual is it states that when TCS and ESC are in “reduced” modes, BLD “may” remain enabled. “May???” Either it is or it isn’t.

Whether it is enabled or not, it can still be overcome by either using a VERY high spin rate on your tires, and/or using inconsistent application of the accelerator. Many folks cannot engage BLD properly anyway, as evidenced by multiple videos on the ‘net. Slamming and jamming on the accelerator, pushing and releasing it constantly, doesn’t allow the computer to engage BLD. To engage BLD, one must use GENTLE AND CONSISTENT application of the skinny pedal.

Here’s an example of BLD, I was trying to let it get me through but it was still a little wet and felt it slip so I engaged the front locker. Didn’t feel like trying to reattach my fender…🤣 And for some reason the wife found it amusing… you can hear her giggling 🤣

Do you think my little Jeep could follow you on that crazy flexy trail? That's the kind of wheeling I like, just flex, no stupid rocks and boulders 🤩🤩🤩
Yeah, no problem , in that spot the two door would probably get a little more tippy because your rear tire would be in the deeper section…you can see I was on two wheels for a second….. Broncos go around this hole because of their lack of articulation due to the IFS…They get tippy real easy on anything off camber …….
