Thanks for that. So Iām sure I understand I put the painters tape on the outside Correct. Iāll give it a shit thanks again.Take painters tape and apply around the edge of the glass where it meets the frame - essentially you want to cover the rubber seal. Once you've covered the gap, take it for a spin, make sure you get up to highway speed. If the noise is gone its a fitment issue, meaning the glass is not seated correctly or the rubber seal has failed (I'm not an expert by any means). After this experiment I took it to the local dealership and they replaced the entire windshield.
