4XE might be too heavy for gladiator fox shocks. You might feel too floaty because of the weight and not enough valving, but you'll never know unless you try :)
makes sense, i'll wait and see how it is once it comes in. thanks for commenting.

What are you doing for bump stops?
Still running the old TeraFlex kit, I put on day one. I really want to run the Fox 2.0 front and rear kit $$$$. Right now I'm just too happy with this set up. The rear could use the hydro bumps first. The front TF cushions work fine with the Mojave.

Sure can. I had my machinist buddy make spacers for me. Well, that did not work. These need to be offset away from the frame. Also the the right side will be the left side for the JL. The reservoir is offset. It just fits better swapping sides.
I just used washers.... No ones can see them in the upper mounts.

Have been getting questions about mounting and bushings.
I'll post out here to help everyone.

A 2" body shock is centered up in the mounts ( upper and lower .) A 2.5 or larger shock body needs to be offset away from the frame, for clearance reasons. Here are a few pics to help.
How do you offset the Mojave shocks? Washers or get a machinist friend, or if you can find this bushing.... 68351974AA from the Mopar 2" lift Fox 2.5 body shock. The lower bushings are the same( Rubicon) 68274045AA. Mojave have larger mounting hole for 14mm bolt.

In the lower mount ( on the 2.5 Fox )you will see the offset is made with the whole mounting leg.
For me they fit fine ( without the offset ) with the adjustable track bar. If you do not run an adjustable bar it might be a problem on one side, as the axle is not centered.

Would something like this help the issue with the lower mount? https://metalcloak.com/outboard-shock-mount-spacer-relocation-kit-jl-lower-front.html

That actually just moves the rear lower mounting points up higher (although they might be slightly more outboard). This generally won't help the larger diameter shock issue.

The issue with this is you would need ~1.5" longer bump stops to not bottom out the rear shock. I suppose this could work when combined with longer front bump stops and these if you really wanted to run Mojave shocks with 1.5-2" of lift: https://metalcloak.com/6pak-front-upper-shock-mount-kit-jl-wrangler.html

Both front and rear 2.5" body shocks ( Mojave ) will need to be offset for frame uppers.
On the lower mounts If you are stock height springs, should be ok. If you are on a 2" lift spring, make sure the axle is centered ( adjustable track bar .)

If no adjustable track bars, I would say yes to the lower offset mounting front and rear. This would be if you are running a 2" lift spring or spacers.

I was just checking for 68351974AA. Doesn’t seem like this part is being sold anywhere. Any ideas from anyone ?

I just got off the phone with Fox since I couldn’t find the upper bushing (68351974AA). They told me the Mojave 2.5 are a non standard part and they didn’t have any info on it. They mentioned the standard upper bushing for their shocks are part # 014-11-003-A and then you need a sleeve ( 2 per bushing) part #214-87-065. They question is the eye socket of the Mojave shocks the same as Other standard fox products?

Thanks to this thread, I made the upgrade to JT Rubicon shocks a little over a month ago and totally love the spongy Cadillac like ride these shocks provide.

The only negative comment came from my daughter who borrowed the Jeep last week and commented how the Jeep fealth less stable and was constantly ā€˜ā€™rocking’’ as if it was a boat she said.

So some might not enjoy as much as I do. To me it beats the jabbing effect and banging sound provided by the stock Rubi shocks and by far.

Heck I even modded my Fox steering stabiliser to match the shocks….. yeah I know, I had too much time on my hands that day?
