Got it. Can you let us know when it becomes available ? :)
I would need your assistance with a bump in a few weeks and I will be happy to help. There is no notification alert we can setup.

Thanks,
- Benny

Hello,

i am Monty from Germany … owning a Jeep 80th Anniversary 4xe.

i was reading this thread and like the idea of cheap Gladiator take offs… I thought about the normal fox ones without reserv.
but I also have heard feedback that gladiator valving in shocks will never be good on a JL.

what is now the truth… are front ones ok to be used or rear ones also.

the Sahara one that I have is also more comfortable than a rubicon and we need good shocks here because of no speed limits on the Autobahn.

would you really now recommend using gladiator fox shocks as a cheap option or will they not work and only look nice?

witk Kind regards
Monty

As I wrote somewhere above, I dont think gladiator shocks (especially rears) would work well with 4XE. Gladiator shocks work great with lighter jeeps and 4xe has a lot of weight over back suspension and I think it would be too floaty. But it just a speculation and unless somebody tries it, we will never know for sure :)

:) I got a set of Gladiator shocks now here in Germany.

i swapped the upper rear bushing with the oem Sahara Shock bushing.
Do we have photos of the plastic dust cover direction… the front shocks have the opening facing to the front right? And the rears?

also I will maybe Ignore the 14mm hole in the bushing and just use it as it is with the 14 mm screw.
Will share first 4XE driving results soon.

would be great if someone could share photos of the dust cover direction front and rear just to be sure.

thanks
Monty

All installed… so on a Sahara 80th Anniversary Edition 4XE I would say those are really comfortable shocks… I need to tr some faster tests I think those are better with short hard bumps on the road.

and all are lighter than stock ones … steel vs Alloy
