Awesome thank you! Now commenting additionally coming from a place of ignorance...

Are the Gladiator Fox shocks any different in construction than the stock JLUR shocks? I mistakenly assumed they were remote reservoir like what's on the TRD Pro or older Raptors. From the pic, they kinda look like they might have just paid royalty to Fox to borrow the name...
Pretty cool as I just bought Bilstein 5100s for my Gladiator, would be awesome to swap them into the wrangler.

No, I squeezed the whole thing back in there
Ok nice, thanks, I managed to get it in earlier today. Took longer than expected, I had really crank the tool beyond what I thought would be required. I cut up some of one of the rubber lip getting it in but it should work fine.

If someone wants to try gladiator fox shocks, I have a set for sale in San Diego already converted for JL.

Got the upper bushings pushed out easy enough. Issue is pushing the new one in. Any tips or tricks getting the new one in? McMaster Carr has stainless tubing to use as a sleeve in the lower mount

I used a heavy weight bearing grease. Alot of force with vise and a piece of tubing. It was fun, not too bad.

Sweet, another excuse to lift my Gladiator. The wife claims her JLURD rides to harsh.
I can lift my JTRD and put the Fox shocks on her Wrangler. Tell her I'm lifting mine so she can have a better ride on hers.
Now I just have to come up with better wording to sell it to her.

I thought I would help inspire some people.

So after some data gathering through forums and folks from Fox and AccuTune- these shocks will work best with the same or similar rate as the stock springs. I wouldn't recommend these if you have varied too much from that:

Here's an idea I had and used and worked perfectly and took all of the slack out.
To Recap:

1- Fronts fit on with no issues.

2- Rears can be finessed (please refer to photo below).

so I recommend to do this:

- The shock eyes on the rear measure exactly 0.545" in Diameter
- an M12 Bolt, which is the same diameter bolt as what the shocks use measures 0.450"
- you need to take in the gap of approximate total of 0.0900"
So, you need to find a spacer that can take up that slack.

I made my own. You can get 22-gauge stainless steel sheets from Home-depot. I bought some aviation snips/sheet metal sheers from Home Depot.

the Circumference is approximately 1.60", so you need the length of your spacer BEFORE you cut the piece out to be this. Then you need the width of your space to be an approximate 1.5"

I went to Ace hardware and bought 1/2" ID spacers (about 0.625" OD) and some M12 washers. Worked perfectly.

Please see below for my homemade spacers.

I see this old thread popped up.
I am actually taking my Mojave shocks and installing them on my wife's wrangler high-tide. I pressed out the old Majave bushings (front and back) and I am ordering bushings from the Fox Performance Elite 2.5 Series Reservoir shocks for a JL. Unfortunately, the bushings are different.

Update, the OEM Mojave and the Fox Performance 2.5 elite shocks have different style clevis. The OEM Majave shocks have straight through bushings, the Fox Performance 2.5 shocks have a hourglass shape bushing.

If all you're concerned with is the Id of the majave bushing you can sleeve it. I had an earlier post, stainless steel tubing from McMaster works perfect. The ID fits the 12mm bolt perfect.

Not just the ID, but the rear bushing offset. Also my bushings (in my Mojave shocks) are a little beat up, so I want to replace them. Unfortunately they do not sell the bushings separately from the shocks...

Did you check with Fox, truck and off-road division? I called and spoke to a tech. They probably have the bushings.

After a lot of digging...

Mojave Shocks in JLU
(2) Mopar Part # 68274895AA – Rear Upper
(2) Fox Part # 014-11-044 – Front Upper

I was lucky enough to get someone that was willing to look up the part drawings and check the dimensions of few different shocks to compare them...
