I ordered and installed the Brewer mount (2 door JL) I posted about earlier.
It worked with the bracket that came with my H3R extinguisher without any modification to either the bracket or the mount. The hardware provided with the mount also worked. I put a little blue loctite on the cap screws and called it good for now. Initial impressions are that it is ratel free, time will tell.

I'm using that Etsy 3D printed bracket also.
Mine vibrates and makes the extinguisher rattle because there are only 2 bolts holding the bracket down on the side towards the window.
The main side of the bracket, which is the side that holds the extinguisher, doesn't have any bolts that attach it to the rollbar.
The main side of the bracket also has a gap between it and the rollbar, which is what allows the bracket to vibrate and rattle the extinguisher.
I'm looking for a way to fix that issue.

I've been running this bracket for about 2 months and have had no rattle issues. The two bolts holding the bracket to the roll bar are plenty sturdy enough. I did use Blue Loctite on all of the bolts (bracket to the bar and extinguisher mount to the bracket) so they wouldn't loosen on their own. I have no complaints ... so far.

Your premium extinguisher probably helps, mine is not an H3R brand.

:CWL:I'm sure it's not the extinguisher, try some Loctite on you bolts and see if that helps. I did use the mount that came with the extinguisher, not the mount the maker recommended. The holes in my mount lined up with the prefab holes in the bracket so I just used it. I believe Amerex extinguishers use a similar industry standard type mount to the H3. I'm not sure about others.

Anybody know the bolt thread pattern nomenclature for those C-pillar holes? {I assume I can go to Lowes and pick up some bolts that will thread in there...if so, what is the type I'm looking for?}

Anybody know if somebody makes a Hi-Lift bracket that would hold the jack horizontally behind the 2nd seats that utilizes these holes?
Answer: M8-1.25; Lowes part 880833 is the 16mm length. 6mm Allen wrench head. 1/4” washers fit over the M8. Lowes 885813.

I had two of these, cause if one is good, two is better...
Absolutely NO issues while naked or OEM Hard top.
BUT THEN, I decided to put a Bestop Trektop Slantback on and had to change due to clearance.
I went back to the El-cheapo mounts they came with to get a lower profile, and they're working fine.

The performance of that Element extinguisher in the video makes it a non-starter for me.

Right application matters… I have an Element and an ABC standard.

Agreed, I have ABC's in the Jeep. Don't think the cost for the element is justified (for me).
I'll stick with what I have.

I have an off road group and purchased a few of the element ones for the moderators. Shortly after, once I learned of its effectiveness or lack of in certain scenarios, I told them to purchase another option if they want on their own. :CWL:

Got myself an H3R but can't afford to buy one for each mod. It's another one of those, keep it handy, but hope you never need to use it.
