what is everyones "volts" when its running?

I got 56k miles and the volts vary from 12.5-14.0. New issue recently that cannot be dupicated at the dealership. After a long 1-2 hour drive, turn off the engine, the car will not restart, have to use a jump box to get it to turn over.

2021 JLUR 3.6 ET with 56k miles. Have replaced the main 12 volt battery 3 times so far.

My 23 Wrangler Rubi 2 Dr 3.6L eTorque is doing fine. I only have 11,000 miles on mine. FYI - I installed the Genesis Gen 3 Dual Odyssey 25 Battery System last year because I wanted a secondary battery to power my after-market accessories such as my Refrigerator, Air Compressor, and my Winch without any impact on my primary staring battery. I'll keep an eye on my volts and report back.

It was 14.7 when new, now it 13.4 four years later.
Just went to the dealer for my oil/rotation battery check and they tell me I'm still at 70% battery health. He said batteries hate the summer and it could go fast but not to worry yet.
Do jeeps with the tow package get a different battery than those without?

I don't think I have ever seen anything over 13.7 volts, maybe 13.9 once or twice. I usually see 13.3 or 13.4 most of the time and sometimes 12.9 for a short period of time.

same for me...until I had an accessory draw the battery down. Still started, but wasn't happy. Saw as high as 15.1 and lots of time in the mid 14 range. My fault for not managing my accessory better.

New battery and accessory squared away and I see mid-13s all the time

I bought a 1 owner 2018 2.0L eTorque last year with 38,000 miles and am still very impressed with the power and fuel eco, always around 25-26 mpg.

One question, does the eTorque automatically get you the DANA 44? Mine has the 44 with limited slip, it also came with 275 AT tires.

You must drive like a saint to get 25 mpg. 😇

Is the voltage you measure when engine running? That would be alternator output not battery. Sounds like you battery doesn’t take charge.

I have near zero technical knowledge but I do know that the etorque doesn’t have an alternator.

I think eTorque is very reliable. Had a ’19 JLR 2.0T with eTorque. Put 45K miles on it with absolutely zero issues. Currently drive a ’22 3.6 eTorque with 50K miles and zero problems.

Just looking at the volts on the instrument cluster. I swear it used to be like 14.0 most of the time when it was new.
