Installed front and rear Rockjock Antirock sway bars on my 2021 Rubicon 3.6 automatic with e-torque. Made sure the rear driveshaft was centered in between the gas tank skid and e-torque skid. Took the Jeep out for a shakedown run and had horrible rubbing when flexing out the suspension. The rear...
I’m having the same issues after installing UD60’s. Shop said they bleed the brakes a few times as well.
I will pass along the info provided here to them. Hopefully we get it dialed in.
Sorry to bring up an old thread but I’ve been dealing with this for the last year.
2021, just like most others out there with this issue.
Dealer replaced the entire column last year and the squeaking went away.
Now I’m out of warranty and decided to try to fix it myself.
Took the steering...
McLeod makes great products. Upgraded my clutch in my Mustang with only 420hp at the rear wheels to a McLeod and it hooked up! Unfortunately the Chinese made Getrag transmission input shaft couldn’t handle it and twisted the input shaft. That was the last straw for me and traded in the Mustang.
Spoke to tech support at Dana Spicer and they use the following part on each of their axles and it works with the UD60 axles. I believe those also use the Eaton lockers so maybe they’d work with other axle manufacturers as well. It’s a pricey part though. $400 and you need 2 of them. I’ll...
I’m not an electrical engineer. Not sure exactly why the ARB or an E Locker doesn’t like the pulsed signal vs a constant signal.
Currie says it won’t work and will void the warranty if used.
I asked Z Automotive to have the ability to remap the offroad plus button like how you can remap the Sway bar kill to one of the cruise control buttons using the Tazer. If I didn’t lose the Offroad Plus feature by changing out the OEM locker switch to the @Lasfit locker control panel I would...
Z Automotive emailed me back and confirmed that they don’t have a product that can make aftermarket axles work with the OEM locker switch.
On another note I spoke to Dana Spicer aftermarket and they have a product that can make the OEM switch work with aftermarket axles however I can’t find any...
Getting conflicting information
Looking into getting aftermarket axles and would like to use the factory locker switch.
Z Automotive has a product called Z-Locker Controller which claims to put out 12v for aftermarket lockers like the Eaton.
However, I’m hearing the factory system puts out a...
Knowing this information now, I’m tempted to pot the sensors since they haven’t completely failed. Then keep the Z locker OEM in the glove box in case they fail on the trail sometime.
Thanks for the helpful information
