Dynatrac ball joint snap ring replacement

Anyone know where to get a replacement snap ring for Dynatrac ball joints, or the exact size/specs? I tried contacting Dynatrac with no response, and It's not the one in their $157 rebuild kit.

I guess I got a little too aggressive with the snap ring pliers and snapped one the wrong way (in half).

There are 3 snap rings for those ball joints.

Do you need the one for the exterior (top joint), the one under the boot that holds it all inside the joint, or the little one that holds the ball joint to the stem?

I snapped 2 during install... contacted Dynatrac & they replaced them under warranty. I used a little lube on the replacements & they slid on fine. Corey Jennings was the guy.

It's disappointing to hear they've been non-responsive.

Like Marc mentioned, I think your best bet is to go through Dynatrac for a new clip. I haven't had the need to source one so I don't have any specs. Maybe they can give you the spec for it so you can buy it on your own.

Got the replacements ordered free of charge thanks to Dynatrac.

In case anyone is ever searching for this, their part number appears to be JP44-0015-A "SNAP RING, EXTERNAL, 1.50" , YELLOW CHROMATE"
