Mine returned twice, both within 16 weeks of it being returned to me. Going back January 23 for another round. 🤞🏼
What's funny is Jane from Jeep Cares told my husband she's never heard of a Jeep being returned a second time for the same corrosion. He basically told her she needs to do more research, then! UGH!!!

This really sucks and I had mine into the dealer in April for this and they missed a hinge completely. I showed them and took pictures and the service manager called me once and then I can never get them to call me back. They suck!! Now I have more bubbling and on the hinge they painted!

I really hate Performance CJDR in Centerville, Ohio. They suck and my google review shows it!
So I just called Dave Dennis Jeep in Fairborn, Ohio and was told that they stopped taking paint repair/corrosion appointments until after the first of the year. I was also told that since I did not buy my Jeep from them, I purchased it when living in Oregon, they will not be able to book an appointment for me at all.

@JeepCares this is totally unacceptable! I was nice to the guy and understood it was not him making the rules and just his dealer management. They do not have a bodyshop and I get that the work is done by others and just covered by Jeep.

I had the areas repainted in April and they missed a hinge and knew about it and the other dealer will not call me back! They are bubbling again after the repaint!

I need to know how this issue is going to be handled.

Thanks, Chris

What's the other dealer's name? I'm from Dayton originally, and I can't remember people being big fans of Dave Dennis.

It's the same with my dealer. They are not compensated enough for the work, so they are only servicing their customers and only doing 1 per week.

That's when Jeep Cares needs to step up. I bought mine about four hours away. My local dealer looked at it in '21, but then dropped the ball for a year (I figured Jeep was just making a determination until I finally contacted Jeep and at first got the run-around, but then was told they didn't have my claim). So went to another dealer, who has a body shop but refuses to do Jeep work since they weren't paid on the last one. Went back to my local dealer (who had dropped the ball), who closed their body shop in the past year, but they have another location about 30 miles away. Jeep Cares was involved from the original ordeal and in the end it went to a local independant shop, but through my local dealer.

So I'd contact Jeep Cares and see if they can get you to an independant shop.

It's my dealer, so mine's getting fixed. They are the only local dealer with a body shop, so they're turning down lots of people.

That is complete BS. I bought my Jeep used and it was originally purchased in Michigan and I'm in VA and my local dealer got everything covered under warranty and took care of it for me.

When I lived there I never heard anything good about that dealership either.

I have been trying to get this issue fixed with my jeep. Not many of the local jeep dealers have body shops so no one wants to look at this. I have called jeep to see what they can do to assist. I originally bought my Jeep in another area than where I'm currently living. Apparently the only dealer that is required to look at or fix this is the dealer that it was purchased from.
I have talked to a few people at jeep and they keep handing my case off to someone else. I feel like I'm getting the run around.
Today I just got off the phone with a senior case specialist who was one of the most rude person that I have ever dealt with. She basically told me if there is not holes in the doors its not a corrosion issue and they cannot force a dealer to fix this.
So basically Jeep has a warranty but there is no one to fix this?
I'm at a loss here and looking for some advice.
I thought about contacting the attorney general in my state to file a complaint or maybe a lawyer to file a suit. I really don't want to go down this road but I don't see many other options here.

Exactly what I did. Sad to see it go but happy I’m not dealing with the BS.
