I've heard the corrosion on the bottom of the door or hood that you're talking about is from particles in the prep phase of painting. That the dissimilar metal flakes are on the vehicle due to poor prep and that's why it corrodes there. 🤷‍♂️

Can anyone tell me if the corrosion lawsuit with the four plaintiffs (Orozco, et al., vs. FCA US LLC ) has been decided yet?

I think there's been people in this thread that have had repeat issues. IRL I know of someone who has had repeated issues and just got rid of their Jeep because they were tired of dealing with it after two fixes.

And what about in my case? Had you explained I could call corporate or email with my VIN to get the info I was looking for, that would have solved everything. Yes, here I sit almost four months waiting for an answer that maybe never would come. Can you see our frustration?!

I understand your point, but I'm confused because I see people who have 4-year-old Jeeps with no holes who are getting fixed. SO how?? They all say it falls under the 5-year corrosion warranty.

But all the bubbling I've seen don't have holes and are being fixed. I still have 3/36,000 warranty (so I'm not worried)...I'm just very confused because there's never been holes, yet things are getting fixed under the 5-year warranty.

Someone else said they stopped replacing panels about eight months ago, but Idk how true that is. Their comment about it has to be where you bought it is BS. It's warranty work... you can do it at any Jeep dealer. I'd for sure get @JeepCares involved.
