I have a 2020 rubi jlu and I have bubbles on the hood and hinges. I'm going to wait another year to see what else pops up before I get it fixed. Anyone know of good body shops in the Worcester, Leominster, Nashua area? Thanks in advance.
Still under warranty. You're not going to take it to the dealer?

Yes, it's still under warranty. I was just wondering if the my dealer doesn't do it in house.

Unless your dealership has their own on-premises collision repair (there are only 2 or 3 in my city), they're going to sub it out. Most dealers have a preferred shop to work with, and it's usually not too hard to figure out which one (look for the body shop surrounded by dealerships).

Jeep Wrangler JL Bubbles in Paint at Door Hinges 2022 Aug (15)

Above is a picture of my Jeep just to show how easy it is to post! :like:

I've been keeping up-to-date on this issue and have read all 174 pages in this thread. I have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler and am doing my best to care for it and watch for any problems. I understand that there are different plausible theories that've been brought up... I wish Stellantis/FCA would acknowledge this and put some resources into solving the issue...

Bugs me like crazy when something is so close to perfection and a couple minor things are holding it back!

ALWAYS take before and after pictures!!!! I hope you don't get this paint issue, your color will be hard to paint match :(

Everytime I get the opportunity, I always keep an eye out for other peoples JL's hinges and if theyre fucked up I try to either leave a note on their windshield or tell them about the lawsuit/why you should get it fixed immediately for free.

MAN that sucks!

This is almost criminal on the part of Jeep, that SO many late-model Jeep owners (and all JLs are 'late model') are having to deal with this absolutely unacceptable corrosion, when with proper preparation and painting it could ALL have been so relatively easily avoided in the factory from the get-go.

Dang bruh...sorry you are going through it!!!!

What that GM said about the rental is 100%. I think that 5 days Enterprise rental is "the standard" in their warranties. My FCA Added Care Plus Extended Warranty covered 5 days @$50/day as well. They had my Jeep for 44 days (for engine replacement)...and when I spoke to the dealership about the 6th day, they told me I would be out-of-pocket for it. They informed me of this on a Friday, and agreed to pay for 3 additional days on their tab to get me through the weekend. ?
Upon returning it that following Monday, I had to use my motorcycle or my dad's 3500 Ram dually (with over 320k miles on it) to get around for the other 36 days!

Of course I'm not gonna use my dad's truck like I would my Jeep, so I was pretty much grounded for 75% percent of that time. I can't imagine having no other vehicle to use during that time.

It sucks!!! But this is another reason why I'm holding off before I take my Jeep in for the bubbling paint. It was difficult not having it for 44 days...but for me that was necessary bc the engine was a goner (literally could not drive it lol) . But weeks on end for bubbles in paint....nahhh I'ma just wait until it's everywhere on my Jeep or until I feel like it needs to be addressed!

Hang in there!!!
Reminds me of the time my daughter was in college and her car was totaled...another story...and I gave her my car to drive. All I had left was the Harley. The coldest winter I can remember, lol!Nothing but respect for the few that ride a bike for basic transportation.
