Exactly, it is NOT the dealers fault. I can't believe there is not a class-action against FCA yet.You only spent $40,000….you’re getting by cheap! Candidly there is nothing we can do about this matter except avoiding the brand in the future…. Getting mad at a dealer won’t do any good….
They *know* it's an issue and yet they (apparently) aren't doing anything proactively to fix it.
They need to redesign to prevent it from happening. But for us who already have the defective design, they should pay for the repairs and warrant it for an extended period of time.
And yes, 40K is pretty low, virtually all the Jeeps I've looked at when the dealers actually had stock were $56K average. Think about the guys spending upwards of 80K. Ouch.
