you should definitely make 20 of them and keep the spares in the center console.

Will do. Tomorrow when I get a chance. How about some pictures.
Huh? He was interacting with Bestop directly. Their shipping is typically included ("free"), but not for little things like this.Lol, laughing in Canadian. Let me introduce you to "brokerage fees". Not sure how shipping is Bestops problem. Lol. Your rant should be with whomever is doing the shipping.
Read it again. I offered them a simple solution that they declined to do. So my rant was with them.Lol, laughing in Canadian. Let me introduce you to "brokerage fees". Not sure how shipping is Bestops problem. Lol. Your rant should be with whomever is doing the shipping.
Exactly. As if they're gonna just chuck them in an envelope. That crazy to ask that of a large company.Huh? He was interacting with Bestop directly. Their shipping is typically included ("free"), but not for little things like this.
I personally would have just gone that route and left the social media aspect out.Read it again. I offered them a simple solution that they declined to do. So my rant was with them.
So I created my own solution for less than the price of just the parts, before shipping. That's a win, so the rant is over.
Yep. But I think I was pretty nice to them. Apparently you struggle with reading comprehension, or you didn't read it all, if you took it as negative in its totality.Bestop didn't bend to your will, so you called them out in social media, in a forum which they presumably support, and where they have many satisfied customers? All this over $15? Really?

They are not large. But some much larger companies are much more flexible and dynamic and empowering of their employees than small ones. Some shockingly more so.Exactly. As if they're gonna just chuck them in an envelope. That crazy to ask that of a large company.
The parts or Bestop? Cause you could be very wrong depending on which one the "not large" belongs to lolThey are not large.
Yeah, I get it. They said no, so that's when it's time to shut your purse and move on. They didn't owe you to send it special for you. If you supposedly "run" an organization as big as bestop and think "this" was the answer, well, I find that pretty hard to believe.I think I was pretty nice to them. I like the company. I love their products. My complaint was over something very specific that involved thinking a very tiny bit outside the box. They were unwilling and inflexible. So I ding them on that. Then solved the problem myself.
I run an organization with possibly as many or more employees as them. They are empowered to make decisions outside the box to better serve our constituents. The benefits of that go very far. Go and enroll in a good MBA program and pay close attention to the case studies of corporations that are flexible and empower leaders vs. those who are rigid. It's far too much to put in here, but it was a simple observation of a practice that is common, normal, and understandable, but it separates the mediocre from the great.

I'd love to show you how it is done. But I don't think you'd understand.Yeah, I get it. They said no, so that's when it's time to shut your purse and move on.
