Heck, buddy has a BMW you have to Subscribe to use the Heated Seats?. Totally stupid, just another cash cow for the mfgr!

My loaded '22 X5 needs no subscriptions for all its features to work...

From what I can tell it's there so you can try the feature and that's not applicable in the states. If you decide that you want the heated seats you have the option of simply paying ~$400 for it. Maybe @Shibadog's buddy was in another country with something similar?

as for the app, never used it when I had it soooo, I guess I don’t need it.
Whats crazy is my 2020 Ford still has a fully functional app that doesn’t cost me anything. ? take notes Jeep.

Agreed, however I live remote in the mountains, so listening to dead sweaty ball music is better than listening to me sing.

Crazy, my 2006 GMC 2500 still has onstar working, I pushed button and next thing I know I am talking to onstar.
