So I got the @ORACLElights bumper mounted backup lights installed finally. Holy hell did I have to grind a lot of material away to make that one fit the steel bumper. I admittedly ground away enough to go through the damn housing. I found myself just before thinking, “This is too much. You’re going to have to grind the bumper.” Then BAM, a small hole. I ended up sealing it up with silicone and switched to grinding the bumper and STILL had to remove a few MM of metal. Good grief.If they don't fit, watch this video at about the 3 minute mark.
Once that was done the install was super easy and the result is they are really damn bright, even during the day. I haven’t had a chance to see them in action backing down our very dark driveway, but I’m confident they will make a big difference.
