Actually, it is quite the opposite; It's the government that is pushing the "average people" to get rid of cheap gas vehicles and replace them with expensive (taxpayer subsidized) EVs. Many people fall for it hook, line, and sinker.
There are no free rides, and the government has no money of...
I'm agreeing with you. You're not cheap, you're smart.
These prices (costs) are not sustainable. Just like the housing market, it is bound to collapse. It's simple economics.
Financing a depreciating asset (vehicle) that costs 50k+ is nothing more than digging a financial grave. A smart...
Dont overthink it.
Order the Quadratec. (I doubt you will be sorry).
It is an easy install.
It rotates up for removing/cleaning floor mats.
It looks like factory equipment.
It is VERY sturdy and secure.
If you don't like it, for whatever reason, you could resell it and recoup most of your...
+1 for the Quadratec with rubber pad. It looks and feels like a factory dead pedal.
*for extra points I added a small piece of door guard edging on the bottom edge of the pedal. This keeps it from digging into the floor liner.
Yes...."handbrake" first, then put transmission into "park". Otherwise all the weight of the vehicle is on the transmission locking pin.
Parking the vehicle with the proper sequence will also make it easier to shift back out of park.
It’s getting crazy, and where prices are headed, It’s not sustainable. Expect a crash throughout the entire market. It’s inevitable and actually predictable.
I own several jeeps and have Duratracs on one of them, and KO2's on another. I drive in big snow, located in a remote area in the High Sierra. I can say unequivocally that the Duratracs are the WORST in the snow...by far. I love the Duratracs when I am driving offroad, but on pavement, you...
I only do things one way...right.
l learned this from my father. Not by example, but actually in spite of it. My father was a great guy in many ways, but mechanical ability and patience were not in his DNA. It never bothered him at all to use different fasteners on the same job, whereas I...
I have the same one. Works perfectly, looks factory and there is no real noticeable signal loss. Its a nice improvement as the black looks much better than the OEM silver one on most Jeeps.
I went with Quadratec. It's a nice full-size, simple install, rotates up for cleaning and/or floormat removal, is extremely solid, and best of all, it closely resembles the stock brake and gas pedal.
