Very interesting stats. Curious if you know if percentage of v6 builds changed when etorque became mandatory with AT. In other words, v6 build percentage up or down since 2021 model year? I know non-etorque was/is still paired with manual transmission, but stat would still be interesting to me. Thank you.
I'm not absolutely positive that I understand what you're asking, especially since I don't have details associated with 2021 models, but I can give some details associated with the two 3.6L engines:

Any insights or predictions on when my January order might be built? Specs in signature…..
If you take every line item from your POC and put those in a single line that's separated by commas I should be able to give you some feel for how many identical builds have received their build sheets and when they were built (if they've made it that far). I would, however, have to leave any predictions up to you.

I don't have code to format those, so I'll just do screen prints.

High Tide colors:
1653712596791.webp

Beach Edition colors:
1653712643220.webp
You may not have insight into this, but Jeep said "the Jeep brand will build the first 500 High Tide vehicles as exclusive Jeep Beach models."

By my math, I only see 277 Beach Editions and ~1500 High Tides. Where are the other 223 Beach Editions?

I have no way of knowing what's coming down the pike until it gets a build sheet. I would speculate that they haven't made it that far in the process yet.

That would be interesting.

So, like this?

JLJS74,23R,ERC,DEM,PBJ,APA,*D5,-X9,XDB,XC3,LFR,HT1,GMA,CHD,AD6,ADH,ADE,XNY,5N6,4EA,171,YGN,L62

Last four are might be best to omit:
sold vehicle, zone code, 4 gal of gas, and some California thing

Ideally, paint codes (PBJ and APA on mine, above) would be better to exclude if possible since paint color’s probably not that a big factor in build availability.

The textual part of it instead of codes. None of those codes are on the build sheet.

It looks like mine is a pretty damn rare combination. The last to get a build sheet and last to get a window sticker on this list. If I include Granite Crystal Met. Clear Coat it's one of a kind.

Hey man, order date 3/23/22, JLUR with premium soft top, scheduled 5/6/22 built not in production yet. Can you tell if any with premium soft tops have been built?

It looks like mine is a pretty damn rare combination. The last to get a build sheet and last to get a window sticker on this list. If I include Granite Crystal Met. Clear Coat it's one of a kind.
Here's mine:
JLJS74 WRANGLER UNLIMITED RUBICON, Customer Preferred Package 23R,V6 24V VVT Engine Upg I w/ESS, 6-Speed Manual Transmission, Hydro Blue Pearl Coat, Prem Cloth Low-Back Bucket Seats,
MOPAR Hinge-Gate Reinforcement,MOPAR Grab Handle Kit,Mopar Doors Off Mirror Kit,Black 3-Piece Hard Top,Corning Gorilla(R) Glass,MOPAR Hardtop Headliner,LED Lighting Group,Trailer Tow and HD Electrical Group,Cold Weather Group,Integrated Off-Road Camera

Given the benefit of hindsight, I'd have left off all the things on that list are easy to add later,
hinge gate reinforcement, grab handles, doors off mirrors, headliner, and yeah, gorilla glass.

Think if I did, I'd have a Jeep by now?

You have nice taste! I have a nearly identical order (see below). The only unique options in comparison to yours are in bold. I was guessing the 4.88’s were holding me up but that may not be the case. When is your order date?

When is your order date?
12/6. You?

I note that I have, but you don't:
cold weather group,
integrated off road camera

I really do start to think it's these unique permutations of more distinctive options, and the availability of those specific parts on a day-to-day basis.

This week, they're out of off-road cameras.
Once those are in stock, then there's no hinge-gate reinforcements available.
After those come in, they're now short clutches for the 6sp manual.
Week after that, all the parts are available, but all the "Hydro Blue" paint booths are already allocated to other builds.

And so it goes.

You'd *hope* that when a specific needed combination of parts is available, that the oldest order that could be built using them gets the nod, but I don't think the scheduling algorithm works that way.

Add one (well, two) more factor into that equation that I think we’ve seen is the biggest thing that holds up orders, where it’s going and how many other orders are going there, and you’re describing the mess perfectly.

So looking at your equation above, you have 100 possible boxes to grab from, but you only need 60 of those parts for any one build, but at any time any one (or more) of those boxes can be empty. So let’s add in the just-in-time product supply thing and you schedule builds with the promise that next Thursday your venders will deliver enough to fill 10 of the now empty boxes but come next week they only deliver 8 so those you thought you could do, you suddenly can’t. There’s your D1 to D (or even C) regress and why build/ship/arrival dayes are such a crap shoot.

Your “odds” of being built by hitting the right combination of filled boxes are huge. Now add having enough other units fitting the right combo to fill a delivery to a certain area via truck or train, think like hundreds or even thousands, it’s really crazy odds. If you build them in the order the order was taken I think you’d have even more “forgotten” or damaged Jeeps sitting in storage lots than we already have.

I think everyone can all agree, though, on your statement I bolded above: you’d think the age of an order would give it preference, but that does not seem to be a huge factor in things being built. That needs to be addressed.

Hey John - Can you run a report for instances of 2.0L builds with XR packages again? Curious if they’ve been building these as I have one with a build date of 6/3/22. Thank you!

I'm surprised there haven't been more manual 2 doors.

Can you run Willys, Snazzberry, hardtop and 6 speed?
