Seriously - drive what you want a motor is a few thousand dollars. If it breaks 10 years after purchase get a new one.
It’s just seems so foolish to keep rehashing this. Almost every auto manufacturer has gone DI as the technology and tuning has gotten much better. If you feel ready to enjoy it great, if you prefer the older proven tech well then that’s an option for now as well.
Maybe we should all go back to carburetors, crank windows, manual locks, etc. Ditch the internet and cell phones too. Then we can have these same conversations at a bar like people have been doing for over a century now.
