My '20 JL Rubicon is my daily driver, 43 miles one way, NY into NJ. Rt. 80/46/23 traffic sucks, but the little rice burners seem to get outta the way of my Jeep with steel bumpers without hesitation. I love driving my Rubicon, I'm buying a '24 soon. Great resale value, I can't imagine driving...
FYI-Comparing window stickers found online, the 2 dr. Rubicon X differs from the 4 dr. in the following ways:
1. 8–Way Power Adjustable Front Passenger Seat-4–Way Power Lumbar Adjustable Front Passenger Seat
2. Alpine® Premium Audio System
3. Ambient LED Interior Lighting,
4. Hinge–Gate...
I need clarification, does the Rubicon X package come with the
4:1 Rock-Trac® Heavy-Duty Full-Time 4WD System
or
4:1 Rock-Trac® Heavy-Duty Part-Time 4WD System ?????
FYI-I was given a very fair trade value on my Tacoma when I bought my 2020 JLR from Mark at Fitzpatrick's in CT. Great dealership, easy to work with, no pressure. I got the forums deal of 7% under invoice when they did that back in 2019. I liked them so much, I plan to order my '24 Rubicon X...
I know this is an old thread, but did the "fix" work? My 2020 JLR has the same issue, it's been leaking for over one year now, seven visits to the dealership. They have replaced the Tcase, the trans pan gasket and the output shaft seal, leaks now more than ever. I too never saw the leak hit...
I agree with DI argument, I bought the Jeep for two reasons, 4 x 4 capable and non DI engine which is pretty rare these days. I owned a VW GTI with intake DI issues, I vowed not to own another, I did trade in a '17 Tacoma with dual injection which seemed okay but didn't own it long enough to...
Here is 11K miles worth of collection from my UPR catch can on my 2020 JLR 3.6 engine. I have experienced no ill effects and actually got better mpg until the dealership flashed my ECU for a knock condition that I never had... I'm very pleased with the purchase.
My JLR was flashed three weeks ago, when I brought it in for a transfer case leak. I wish they left it alone, my gas mileage is 18-19 mpg when before I was getting 22 mpg. Thanks @JeepCares...
I had my transfer case replaced under warranty with 9K on the odometer two days ago because it was leaking. I looked under the Jeep this morning for any new leaks and found none. But, I did find these two flange nuts loose and one was about to fall off. What purpose do they have, securing...
It needs a new transfer case at 8500 miles, UGH. I discovered a leak while changing my oil a few days ago. It is a minor leak at the rear of the transmission pan, there were no spots or evidence of fluid on my driveway. I took it into the dealership today, they were AWESOME, after sending...
I have it and absolutely use Nav and my phone too. It is great for traffic alerts, I was alerted on UnConnect of an accident long before Google Maps on my phone during my recent trip home from TN.
