Mechanically my 2018 JLUR has been fine, but I have the hinge corrosion issue and now it's out of five year warranty. The outlandish prices on new Wranglers has stopped me from trading in as I usually do every 3-4 years. I'll never buy another for that and the corrosion issues. There's just a...
Yup. I would not even consider a new Jeep unless we start talking at the same discount I got in 2019, which was 10% off MSRP. If they are going to hammer you on your trade value, guess what. MSRP is a joke now like it was then.
And that doesn't include Browns out in Patchogue, I bought my current JLUR from them and my previous JKUR as well. I'm glad to see a huge surplus they'll be discounting heavily when the sales fall through the floor.
Have to chuckle when 4XE owners brag about how fast they are with their blazing 375 HP. In a 5000+ pound vehicle. In a vehicle designed to go 2 MPH. Apparently the conception of what fast is is lost on them. It makes it about the slowest SUV out there, but I guess for a Jeep it's "fast". Like a...
Although my 2018 JLUR has been mechanically sound I gave up all hope after seeing how despite thousands of customers having bubbling defective paint on their hinges and other places they just kept on building them the same damn way. 2018's, 19's, 20's and beyond many have it to some degree. Says...
I'm not an expert either but I know a guy who's best friend has a brother in law who's father used to be partners with a guy who ran a repair business. He said the 6 cylinder sucks. So there's that.
I have corrosion on the hinges on my 2018 JLUR which would be still under five year warranty but with the downtime and the probable mismatched paint (Punk'N) I think I'm just going to live with it. I have till 2/24.
What part of in case of a highly unusual sidewall puncture that is not repairable with a tire plug kit and air compressor did you not comprehend, Cletus? Any "manly" stories you can regale us with?
I've run a STD for years and never had a flat. Keep a tire plug kit and DC air compressor on board. If needed can throw the spare in the back. The amazingly improved visability, weight off the rear door, ease of taking the hard top on and off, ease of cleaning and cool factor are unbeatable. Oh...
My main concern with almost any EV is that in five to seven years, assuming battery technology advances at a reasonable rate it might be a very hard sell as a resale vehicle. How's the market for Iphone 8's now?
Perhaps but this is certainly not one of them it's idiotic. Where is the motivation to learn a so called "skill" that 99.9% of people will never EVER use. Are you a whiz at playing Xbox games like Fortnite as well as a 12 year old can? No? .....you slacker...no motivation?? You can't do...
