  1. Overall build quality seem lacking

Mechanically my 2018 JLUR has been fine, but I have the hinge corrosion issue and now it's out of five year warranty. The outlandish prices on new Wranglers has stopped me from trading in as I usually do every 3-4 years. I'll never buy another for that and the corrosion issues. There's just a...
  2. More 2-Door 'Discontinued' Rumors...

What a steaming pile of baloney from start to finish.
  3. Trade-in and depreciation on my 2018 Rubicon.

Yup. I would not even consider a new Jeep unless we start talking at the same discount I got in 2019, which was 10% off MSRP. If they are going to hammer you on your trade value, guess what. MSRP is a joke now like it was then.
  4. Jeep fixed. Thanks all.

I feel sorry for the unknowing sap who's going to eventually buy this POS after the million issues the OP has and will have.
  5. 25k on 3.6 and block is cracked!

Fake news. Everyone knows the 3.6 are flawless.
  6. Dux Sux!!!

Jacked up Jeep with cheap mods who hates kids fun always owned by a guy names Travis and it's his daily driver to his night job at Walmart.
  7. I was in my local Jeep Dealership this weekend, and they have a bunch of 4xe's if you are looking.

And that doesn't include Browns out in Patchogue, I bought my current JLUR from them and my previous JKUR as well. I'm glad to see a huge surplus they'll be discounting heavily when the sales fall through the floor.
  8. I was in my local Jeep Dealership this weekend, and they have a bunch of 4xe's if you are looking.

Have to chuckle when 4XE owners brag about how fast they are with their blazing 375 HP. In a 5000+ pound vehicle. In a vehicle designed to go 2 MPH. Apparently the conception of what fast is is lost on them. It makes it about the slowest SUV out there, but I guess for a Jeep it's "fast". Like a...
  9. Dealership/ STAR/Jeep Wave/ ALL TERRIBLE

Although my 2018 JLUR has been mechanically sound I gave up all hope after seeing how despite thousands of customers having bubbling defective paint on their hinges and other places they just kept on building them the same damn way. 2018's, 19's, 20's and beyond many have it to some degree. Says...
  10. Why is the automatic in a Rubicon so expensive?

Then basically choosing to own an obviously defective product again is like an IQ test?
  11. Why is the automatic in a Rubicon so expensive?

Yup nothing says reliability and great design like the Wrangle manual. After you get all the recalls squared away or die in a fire on the highway.
  12. 2.0 Turbo 4 OR 3.6 V6 ???

I'm not an expert either but I know a guy who's best friend has a brother in law who's father used to be partners with a guy who ran a repair business. He said the 6 cylinder sucks. So there's that.
  13. After 68K miles, 2.0l engine is toast

Impossible. Old tried and true is flawless. Ask any 6 cyl owner.
  14. What Year/Color JL Wranglers have least Galvanic Corrosion

I have corrosion on the hinges on my 2018 JLUR which would be still under five year warranty but with the downtime and the probable mismatched paint (Punk'N) I think I'm just going to live with it. I have till 2/24.
  15. Stock to Rock in less than a week ! Factory half doors and spare tire delete kit and f!! Completely pumped !! So much fun !

Which is why knowing you were going on a "difficult" trail run you'd have thrown your spare in the back. Right?
  16. Stock to Rock in less than a week ! Factory half doors and spare tire delete kit and f!! Completely pumped !! So much fun !

What part of in case of a highly unusual sidewall puncture that is not repairable with a tire plug kit and air compressor did you not comprehend, Cletus? Any "manly" stories you can regale us with?
  17. Stock to Rock in less than a week ! Factory half doors and spare tire delete kit and f!! Completely pumped !! So much fun !

I've run a STD for years and never had a flat. Keep a tire plug kit and DC air compressor on board. If needed can throw the spare in the back. The amazingly improved visability, weight off the rear door, ease of taking the hard top on and off, ease of cleaning and cool factor are unbeatable. Oh...
  18. Is the 4xe a ‘disposable car’?

My main concern with almost any EV is that in five to seven years, assuming battery technology advances at a reasonable rate it might be a very hard sell as a resale vehicle. How's the market for Iphone 8's now?
  19. Automatic vs. Manual Sales Split

Perhaps but this is certainly not one of them it's idiotic. Where is the motivation to learn a so called "skill" that 99.9% of people will never EVER use. Are you a whiz at playing Xbox games like Fortnite as well as a 12 year old can? No? .....you slacker...no motivation?? You can't do...
