The Three hoods in question are:Will this hood be used on the other models using the 2.0 turbo?
That one has a Hemi in it. Not likely to go into production...maybe.
They showed a new hood design at the Easter Moab event.
Because FCA would want $100,000 for a Wrangler with a Hemi. Mopar is phasing out the HellCat Hemi and will be replacing with the Demon Hemi. Why not offer a Hemi in a limited edition run?
Itās called CAFE and emissions standards. Why not offer a Hemi in a limited edition run?
A number of customers would LOVE it, but they are waaay outnumbered by FCA lawyers. Why not offer a Hemi in a limited edition run?
Not to mention that V8ās in general will probably very slowly be getting phased out in any vehicle that doesnāt absolutely require it (anything thatās not a full-size truck).Because FCA would want $100,000 for a Wrangler with a Hemi. Sadly, 12 years of JK history says it wonāt happen. Why not offer a Hemi in a limited edition run?
Which is why we now have ESS and the eTorque coming out next model year. Iāve been told (but not verified) that Jeep will be paying one of the highest emission standard penalties in history this year.Itās called CAFE and emissions standards.
I wouldnāt doubt there are penalties built into the price of every Wrangler already for falling below certain fuel economy benchmarks and emissions output.
You mean WEāLL BE paying one the highest emission standard penalties in history ?! LolWhich is why we now have ESS and the eTorque coming out next model year. Iāve been told (but not verified) that Jeep will be paying one of the highest emission standard penalties in history this year.
I would put a cash deposit today if they made a Rubi with a 392 na in it.Not to mention that V8ās in general will probably very slowly be getting phased out in any vehicle that doesnāt absolutely require it (anything thatās not a full-size truck).
