Glad your wife is unscathed, pretty serious hit. The Jeep is a small sacrifice at the end of the day to keep your loved one safe. I wish her a speedy recovery.
I would explore the Fox offerings. The Falcons will be a much stiffer ride than stock on the softest setting. The Fox adjustable will be able to go from softer than stock to almost as firm as the Falcon.
We could also dive into King or Radlfo but I’m pretty sure Fox is a good spot to start.
You turned it off, rebooted it and didn’t notice your power steering was on 100% all the time? On the highway it should be noticeably different. I also have hydro which gives me more feel, but you should still notice a difference.
If you have agreed to just let it be. Then just turn both lockers to off. Leave the FAD settings alone and setup your two wire operation. However your axles are still fixable and it requires fixing the plate. Once that’s done you will be able to resume normal operation.
Understand these things...
Who did the gear job? During the swap I am guessing the floating plate position was not marked or it became warped causing the issue you’re describing. A gear job should not cause the lockers to not work. I think the issue is you need to redo the gear job the right way and your Rubicon will...
So you did a gear job and when it was finished you had the flashing locker light? So you decided to fix that to just go with a two wire setup?
Have you updated to the most recent version of Tazer software.
You have all features of your Tazer set correctly ratio wise etc.
I’m a little lost here, why did you need to install Mopar wiring on a Rubicon? I would set the locker section to “both” in that scenario.
I need some more details to be able to help you better.
Mine will flutter too from time to time. I can recreate it by driving behind a semi, that makes it bang around pretty good on the middle section. I just got over it when @Bestop didn’t seem to have a solution when they first came out.
When you turned it off the default was entered which is full on. You’re not writing anything or modifying anything in a forever way. It is either on or off, the loose feeling you encountered was the fact it was just incredibly easy to steer.
As I mentioned to you regarding this method when I told you about it via PM using the tazer this way must be done with an upfront warning and the reason I didn’t want to publicly post it. If on the highway and using this feature the steering pump is giving 100% effort. Which equates to very...
