I know all the other things that come with the XR package, my question is specifically about the 1.5 XR lift versus 2.0 Mopar, versus 2.5 RK / MC. More than likely will end up on 37s. Nothing too extreme but mid-level rock crawling and trails/ badge hunting

We put 37's on out 'x' without any problems.

Here is a picture of it on dealer lot before we picked it up.

And here is a picture of it after taking it to Discount tire and puitting 37x12.5 r17's on it without any additional lift changes.

Last week we went to Moab and ran Hells Revenge. No real problems at all. There is small area in the right rear wheel well that rubbed just a bit. I had to really look to find it.

On the other hand our 24 2 door with the mopar 2 inch lift does articulate better. But we do'nt need this type of movement in a daily driver.

Get the XR, chop the fenders, and run longer shocks. Fit 38s, Profit.

See that's kind of what I'm thinking, specifically since 2dr has more of a chance to roll and flip, if I can keep CG as low as possible maybe I can help it stay planted even on bigger verticals. I plan on putting High Flex flares on it. Hence the reason why I'm asking for info on the options.

If you're changing fenders on an XR, I would cut the bump stops down to regular JL size for more bump travel.

Also I've seen people regret going to 37s on a 2-door, and claim that 35s were ideal.
I have as well, hence the reason why I'm making 37s as my top. If I stay down at 35 then it just makes it even better, but at least I have the ability to do it if I decide I want to and then I can make a better informed decision
