lm planning on staying with 35s for now. I like the stance and I can get in without much effort. The rear bumper and tire carrier are from Warn. I installed it before the lift and it was enough added weight so that the back tires would rub on the smallest bumps. Unfortunately I didn’t measure the difference when I installed the lift. The jeep was noticeably lower in the back with the OEM suspension, but not so much now.Looks good with 35s. Have you considered 37s? Is that the LOD bumper and rock rails? I have considered both plus adding a full skid and was wondering how it might affect the height.
I still have not decided how I want to move forward. Before talking with the two shops, I was leaning toward the Metalcloak lift but now I'm unsure. I'm not sure about the experience of either shop with 2 doors. Still considering doing it myself.
the rock rails are Roam step frame mount rock rails. They are very similar to LODs product. I have been happy with them, though customer service was a problem during purchase.
the front bumper is an LOD destroyer shorty bumper. Very good quality and good overall experience with LOD. Knowing what I know now, I would have given LOD much more consideration for the rear bumper and rock rails.
I installed my MetalCloak with jack stands and a floor jack. It would be a lot easier with a lift, but it can be done. Multiply recommended install time by at least two though. MetalCloak was pretty optimistic.
