Hello everyone, I picked up my Jeep JLUS about a month ago. Installed wheels/tires about 2 weeks ago (have less than 500 miles on them) and I am having second thoughts, considering selling and taking the loss. I went with black rhino 20x9.5 -18 offset with 4.5 BS with 305/55/20 wheels.

Regret #1 - 20’ rims
Regret #2 - -18 offset (feel like they stick out a bit too much)

Help!!! Thoughts? Lol

Just ask @cosine he knows!
That seems to be a popular combo in FL. I prefer positive offsets & 17s to keep poking to a minimum and more sidewall available. Probably be able to sell them for decent cash back if it's not what you wanted since those are more common in your area.

I never really liked when the wheels stuck out past the fenders. The rims may also be a little large for it.

I have a Sahara also and I noticed I liked the wheels lot more when I painted the grill inserts.

Wheels are very much personal preference. So you’re just getting opinions.

First of all your Jeep looks great.

I personally don’t like 20’s or a wide stance. But lots of people do. Your jeep is pretty tasteful even if it is not my preference. It’s also not a very functional combo for off-road but that may not be your priority.

You may be overthinking it. Enjoy your Jeep!

I ordered the unpainted/black grill inserts and fog light bezels from Mopar a couple of days ago. They get here this week!!

Yup. That’s the look down here. I really liked it at first then I started really looking at different jeeps in this forum, etc. If i decide to swap I’ll def go 17s and maybe a 0 offset.

SCIENCE!
I dunno, I'm digging the offset, looks pretty nice. A little aggressive without being too much. Then again, may be different in person.

But those 20s... Man, @ThirtyOne is right, personal preference and all that, but those 20s just don't look right...

Here’s a simple test.

Park next to a curb. If the curb is higher than your sidewalls, your tires are too small for your wheels.

20’s only look okay on 37”+ tires.

I like a solid side 20 inch rim but with narrower tires and no offset. Looks more like the original Jeep wheels of the Willy’s.
