But, if we wanna look at the history of the IQS, Jeep does hover around average. Here's all the IQS rankings for the JL production years:Nope. I said that if you want to know who builds a quality vehicle the IQS is the only game in town. I never said it was absolutely correct, I never said it was great. I only said it was the industry standard...and that's because it's the best we have.
Nope. I said that Jeep is not dependable because we already know it's not. The rankings back that up (they have been near or at the lower half of the IQS for as long as i've been looking at it)...but one doesn't even need to look at the rankings...especially if you are a member here or have any experience with the brand.
If you actually read my posts (you don't), you would remember that in my first post I said that I had typed up a wordy explanation of why you need to look at a brands HISTORY on the IQS and not just one year and then deleted it because I realized the thread wasn't about the IQS. This is because I recognize the inherent issues with the way JD Power does their rankings. One year tells us nothing. Just like a couple years ago when Hyundai and Kia topped the list - brand fanboys were marching their parade all over the internets...but both brands had been below average up to that point and since then they've just been average. The good brands maintain a history of top-half performances in the IQS.
