I took my 19' into the dealership 1 month ago; for paint, and a few other minor issues. It's supposed to return from their bodyshop on Tuesday. I'm skeptical that they will have done a good job on the paint. Their communication has been abysmal throughout the whole process.

that one seams to be just for the new hinges they came out with. I’m needing a tsb that shows everything since I only have it on my hood. Not on any hinges. Thank you
Are these what you are looking for?

I am experiencing bubbling around the bottom of my hood. Not on any hinges. I thought I was lucky until now…. I have 38k miles. Since I no longer have the bumper to bumper coverage will this still covered by the tsb? Does anyone have the most up to date tsb for all panels not just the hinges?? Thank you.
FYI..... I had a small bubble on the front lower lip of the hood (none at hinges or anywhere else)….. Was told that both updated hinges were needed with repairs. Any panel that is removed for repair will require hinge replacement .... Just my experience

That would be fine with me. I will be happy as long as they make it right and don’t give me a hard time about it. You’re just talking about the hood hinges correct? Did it take a long time for them to get it taken care of?

I miss typed....I had all 4 doors and hood repainted (plus 10 updated hinges).. The Hood only had one very small bubble on the front edge only.... but required completely repainting the hood plus decals and hinges
Not a perfect match (but very close)... Can see the difference in certain light conditions... It's only been 8 months since repaired. Still under 5 year warranty till June.
It took quite awhile, was on the "list" for about a year.... Just called them every 3-4 months for updates.... They apparently only do 2 Wranglers per week....
The Dodge Ram, and Pacifica have the same issues..... (Ram hoods , Pacifica hoods and sliding side doors also... More aluminum panel issues)

wow. That really sucks. So I guess I’ll have to get used to it for awhile. Now I see why some people got so upset and traded in before even getting it fixed.

A little update......
Jeep back from paint, but still at dealership to replace a door handle. New Service Advisor assigned to my Jeep, I guess the 1st guy was out of his wheelhouse.

Service advisor and I inspected paint yesterday. They did a nice job on the front hood, but I guess they forgot all about the 7/8 hinges, and the lower corner of one door. Showed new Service Advisor the areas I was concerned about, he agreed, and said he would take it to the Bodyshop himself, and make sure they understand the issues. I also gave him all the TSB #'s for reference.

When I finally get it back, it will probably be pushing 7 weeks. What a SS.

I dropping mine off for paint on thursday for the second time

Last time was in the shop for almost 14 weeks, hoping for less time this go around

1st time was all hinges and hood

no most hindges, hood and front two doors

leaning towards this becoming a lemon

Just went to the dealer

The initial appointment was for me "to drop it off for the body shop"

Instead they just took pictures and said they would send it to jeep for review.

Its annoying because I was there last week for an oil change and they " couldnt do the pictures then"

fingers crossed. Second time for the same garbage, was a hood/ all doors and tailgate respray 19 months ago, curious what they say this time

Leaning…???? why would you let them keep your Jeep for 14 weeks? Two weeks yes, 14 never.

I never noticed my issue until a coworker noticed it. Now the Jeep is out of warranty. Maybe I can just put a rust colored wrap on it and drive it until it dies someday. Kind of a bummer it’s not recalled for a known issue.

It's not a recall because it's only cosmetic unfortunately. This is all on Jeep and the way they treat their customers.

Toyota had an unlimited mileage warranty on their white paint recently. My GF is a service advisor and Toyota was willing to paint 10 years old cars because the paint was flaking. Not sure what cars were affected, but that's an impressive way to treat customers. Jeep knows they have an issue and just ignore it. They would rather take their money from their customers and hope you don't file a warranty claim/ run out of warranty.

I basically have paint bubbling on all 8 of my door hinges. That being said the hinges on the hood look ok for now. I am wondering if I should jump the gun and pay to have them replaced. My 5 year rust warranty is up within the next few months. I believe someone mentioned that new hinges come with some sort of metal spacer which I would assume helps to prevent the galvanic corrosion which is what appears to be going on here...
