I have a cover from Rain Gear, it works great.

It’s not just the hinges. I’ve had it on the front hood, and lower corners of the doors. I’ve also heard people say the rear gate, and the windshield frame are prone to it also.

Talked to the service advisor today….he can’t get an appointment approved for the 3rd trip to the body shop, because the last repair hasn’t been paid yet. I said the door they forgot to paint, HAS ALREADY BEEN APPROVED. He took a deep breath, and said the same thing again. I guess it’s time to...

They never offered a loner, nor did I ask for one. After the first 3 weeks, they assigned a new Service Advisor to my Jeep, because the 1st guy was a train wreck.

Just a little update......dealership had it for 9 weeks. During that time, it went to the paint shop twice. Inspected it with the Service Advisor, and we found imperfections in one of the door they totally repainted, and one other hinge they neglected to touch. Waiting for another...

Why are you selling?

I did not use any of the supplied adhesive velcro. I attached the velcro on the mat, to the seat back only. It still hold everything in place fine. Not really sure why I didn't add their velcro.

I really can’t tell from the photo. How do you like them otherwise?

There is a big thread here somewhere. Lots of people have purchased, with good results. Found it. Ebay Rubi Steel Bumper (not a knock-off) pretty legit!

They are pretty much the only thing my local dealership advertises anymore.

If I’m not mistaken, there is a zinc shim, that sits between the door panel, and the new hinge.

I’d take the Ocean Blue. Hopefully they’ll have the corrosion issue figured out by then.

2019 JL with LED’s. Installed Cooltec harness that year and have towed many miles, (14 hrs straight on 1 trip). I’ve never had any battery issues, but I have a RVi Towed Battery Charger installed.

My 2019 has been to Safelite 3 times for windshield replacement. $50 a pop, Geico FTW.

Your paint should be covered for 5 years. I have a 2019 and it’s currently at the paint shop under warranty.
