Did you have the tow package on your Jeep? I think that the only Jeeps that come with H7 batteries have the tow package.

I think i need to replace my main battery, noticing sluggish starts these past few days and worried im going to get stuck. My Moab is a 2019 and i believe its still the original battery. I have the tow package so im assuming i can swap out my battery with a h7 94r . Going to go with the oddysey seems to be best bet. Attached is my vehicle sticker, any chance you can tell if i have the aux battery as well?

Yup. you have an auxiliary battery. And you have the trailer tow package which comes w/ the bigger battery.

Damn, I just can't get over all these main batteries dying so quickly and needing to be replaced after just two or three years.

On my 96 Ram pickup, the batteries have consistently lasted for 10 years each. And in the car I had before that, it was still on the original battery when I sold the car six years after purchasing it.

My 2005 Ram 1500 battery lasted 15 years before I pulled it. Thought it was getting week and replaced it but it wasn't the battery. It was the starter!

I know that batteries really get burned up fast in very hot places like Arizona and Nevada. But while the cool weather here in Alaska might generally extend their lives, I think the cold (and sometimes VERY cold) winters here don't do them any favors longevity-wise, either.

I would imagine almost anyone living in the coastal zones of the Pacific Northwest would be in a near-ideal environment as far as battery longevity is concerned --- rarely very hot, never or almost never very cold.
