Hello All, so I am looking for some advice. I did some research and followed the forum here for main battery replacements. I went to start my Wrangler and the battery was dead, so I upgraded from an H6 to an H7. After replacing, I am getting the Service Start/Stop Message. The ironic piece to this, is that I have only owned the vehicle for about 8-9 months now, and the start/stop never worked even though the light was off. I thought someone had done the bypass to it, but had never looked into it. Clearly not. Is it possible that someone could have tazered it to get this message to stop? I don't think so because the light was never on by default either. Any thoughts on next steps? I really don't want auto start/stop to work, but don't want the message on startup and warning light on all the time.

I didn't, but I had not been getting a warning for it before the main stopped. I know that could be a possibility, but would have thought that since start/stop had not been working before I would have gotten something from it then.

Pull the negative for the little battery off the main, pull fuse 42.

I just replaced both batteries on my 2020 Rubicon, with stop start not working, no light. After battery change stop start works. If you change small battery yourself, go in from the top. I tried the bottom and it was not possible for me. Had to go to the top.

I had same warning--I think I fully discharged (killed) Aux while installing a Redarc, though the Aux was 5 years old).

I replaced both last October. I found it was almost trivially easy to replace Aux from below by first removing the fender flare. There are good videos posted on the Forum (I bought a bag of fender clips though only a couple broke).

I didn't remove the fender flair. I folded the plastic fender liner over. I couldn't hold the battery up with one hand and connect terminals with other.

I also found folding the liner gives almost no access, I went that way earlier when installing the Mopar trailer wiring.

Check/clean the hood sensors and try switching the connecting leads/wires to each sensor. This worked to clear my error message.

Thank you all. Working and checking all of these options tonight/tomorrow and probably replacing the aux battery.
