Or jump it repeatedly.

Come on world, you tell me someone has not come up with a roller rocker for the 3.6?

This screams mass recall, lawsuits, etc.

I havent watched it yet but it would suck to have this happen. It would doubly suck to have to have it happen right before a trip
He was lucky to have it happen before the trip, despite his obvious stress. It would have really sucked to be in the middle of nowhere Alaska and have something really bad happen.

Hey, we've got one mechanic here, though the shipping would double the cost of a new engine.

I'm guessing the work was all done for free by that shop.

I watched that. Brad took it well. I've had things like that happen to me before and I did not have the same reaction, would end up selling the vehicle ASAP.

Should Brad get that canister oil filter adaptor that has a drain back valve? Does that help this issue?

Same with oil weight. Maybe he needs to go with a 5W40 or something.

Does Brad still own the LC250? If so I wonder why he chose not to take it on the trip and have the Jeep fixed under warranty?

I wonder how many miles were on the used cam he put in? I think I would be stressing for the rest of the trip...I bet when he gets back that thing gets a V8 conversion...I think I will be on a 2500-3000 Oil change interval from now on......
