those 2 inch bumpstop extensions also seem like a lot. Do you have any idea why they added that much? There must’ve been crazy interference with some part or sth…

I would try cycling the suspension without these on to determine the right amount of bumpstop. If you really need that much, you can either change the part that’s causing the interference or, as you suggested initially, go with (much) taller springs.
My lift is broadly equivalent and around 2" of bump is where I need to set for avoiding getting into the factory fenders with 37s, but those Falcons generally run a little longer travel too, so probably also set there to protect the shocks. Rare to see less than 2" of bump extension for a 2.5" kit.

Well that's a big part of the up travel issue - you only got like 3" before you're in the bump stop. Did your Jeep start off as an XR?
I don’t think so, 2019 JL Unlimited Rubicon - here’s the build sheet

fair point - I figured the aftermarket fenders had to have way better clearance, but it was an assumption I should’ve called out (and it could be wrong, of course).

So would going to 3.5” coil spring on the front make sense instead of the 2.5” on there? More down travel, potentially level out my rake. Do guys mix coil heights front and rear? The rear end is high already, a taller spring back there might be excessive. Thoughts? How much taller is a “much taller spring and are you saying front or 4 corners?

That's 3 cm, not 3" of travel. No wonder that thing rides like poo.
You have to measure to bottom of the jounce tube, since the foam bump stop compresses under load. He has 7cm to the lip of the jounce tube.

Dagum, how much weight in skids and bumper and all that? 5300lb is a lot for a 2 door.
Thats why my Jeep rides and handles like riding a whale at a rodeo.

With the five Mickey Baja 35 inche tires on Method 106 wheels, Steel Icon Bumpers, Warn Winch, Metalcloak Skids, Dometic CFX65 Refrigerator, tools and trail recovery gear, Tailgate Reinforcement, and a full tank of fuel, and that is with my TrailRax/RotoPax two 2-Gallon Fuel containers empty.

The springs and shocks that came in Mopar Lift Kit just can't handle the weight.

The Shock Engineer at Accutune Offroad did say most of the problem is the shocks and the springs are also a contributing factor. Of course the Mopar Lift Kit caused both axles not to be centered and that is contributing to the vehicle handling like a whale too in the 70 MPH turns.

Anyone? Still looking for what the solution is. Thank you.

You got very little uptravel as is, depending on how much you’d like to flex you will have to decide how high you need to go (obviously keeping in mind your shock travel).

so, I’d go about doing this - please someone who knows better please chime in:
(1) research/figure out how much uptravel you want for how you plan on using the Jeep, aka washboards, spirited driving, etc. that you mentioned, the higher center of gravity with the higher lift, and your shock travel
(2) pick a new set of front springs based on what you determined in (1) and on your current uptravel
(3) install the new springs and cycle the suspension to confirm no unexpected interferences

I hope this makes some sense?

Go with 3" Teraflex Outback springs for the front and rear.
