So, I can make changes for tire size and TPMS settings and AutoPark disable....and then remove the gateway module and tazer both from the JL and I don't need them anymore, right? Which means never having to remember to remove them before going to the dealership.

Disable auto park is not yet a feature.

You must unmarry the TazerJL and remove both modules before your dealership service department visit!

Suggest you do a forum search using the words TazerJL and then read, read all the threads found. There is an abundance of info. I'd say it would be hard to find a question that is not already answered.. 8-)

Oh really? I made a mistake then. I assumed that since FlashCal can do it, Tazer can too. That's a deal breaker for me.

I hate AutoPark so much that if Tazer can't do it, I'll send it back or cancel my order if possible and look elsewhere. AutoPark must die!

Flashcal claims it can but cannot... Apparently it is very difficult trying to disable Auto park.

Eventually how to do will be figured out..

I hope so. I can't send PMs to @joe@zauto from here, I tried the contact form on their website days ago and haven't gotten help, and today I tried the text message number on their site and haven't gotten help there either. I'm getting a little nervous about the purchase.

I need to know for sure that AutoPark disable is a feature that's coming, because if not I need to send this back while it's unboxed and I still can.

Ordered!

These featurs sold me! Also, the story of the light show used as hazard flashers was the last push.
1. Enable Blind Spot Monitoring
2. Winch Mode
3. Cool down Mode
4. Disable TPMS
5. Enable Front Camera
6. Light Show (can you trigger light show from Hazard lights?)
Future - Read set Codes

The TazerJL is quite the useful tool in regard to the JL. You listed just a few things that I have enabled with my TazerJL. I've also, disabled seat belt chime, disabled Nav restrictions, enabled fogs with high beams, disabled ESS, enabled backup camera when moving forward, changed DRL and more. The TazerJL has really lets say made my JL shine.

Just one thing though... The TazerJL cannot enable Blind Spot Monitoring unless your JL is set-up properly for Blind Spot Monitoring.

Another words, the Jl/JLU that comes from the factory that does not have the Blind Spot Monitoring option cannot have Blind Spot Monitoring turned on by the TazerJL. You'd need some additional hardware and some wiring done. Joe at ZAutomotive added the ability to turn on Blind Spot Monitoring as a TazerJL feature, just in case someone wanted to do turn it on after doing what I just mentioned.

By the way, I am the guy that used the Light Show at the early early morning, isolated back road crash scene. The Light Show really did the job that night.

Hmm... I thought that I had read that the LED tail lights included the blind spot sensors, even if I didn't buy the safety package. And, even tho I don't have the mirrors with the warning lights in them, once enabled the radio will beep at me if my blinkers are on and a object is detected.

If I'm wrong, that's ok too. But it'd be awesome to have it just work.

I'm not sure... also, some/ a handful of JLU owner's are experiencing issues with the factory safety package... Apparently, if you install taller tires, etc. the safety package may start giving false warnings which can be a pain in the ass. So, you might just want to pass on the safety package idea if you are going with taller tires..

I received my Tazer JL today and the installation was pretty easy. I picked up a trim removal tool, popped off the kick panel under the steering wheel, and had easy access to the connectors. After I married it to the Jeep I ran through the options and found that configuration is a breeze. I plan on leaving it plugged in so I can take advantage of keeping my Auto S/S and Traction Control off as well as having access to the light show.

One thing to note, if you drive around with your doors off make sure you remove it and lock it up if you stop someplace because it is pretty obvious when it is installed. It would be an easy thing for someone to steal if they new what they were looking at.

@EJ3CTA

The OBDll port itself is very easy to move up and out of sight if you want. Just be sure to put OBDll port back in stock position before service department visit.
