Not sure if this has been requested, but in the spirit of what's next: Any chance the phone's ring volume through blue tooth could be adjusted? It's killing me at the default of 15! Thanks Joe!

Can that not be changed? I might be crazy but I’m thinking in my GC with a UConnect, you might be able to change it by turning the volume knob down while the phone is ringing. Have someone call you, and while you let it ring through Bluetooth system, turn down the volume on the stereo knob and see what that does.

If you don’t mind reporting back here, I’d love to hear your findings (still waiting on my JL so I can’t test myself).

Yes, you are correct. You can also change the volume of the Nav voice by making a volume adjustment while the gal is giving directions. Whatever volume you set something to last, is the volume that is remembered.

What is the "realm" of things a device like this *could* modify once coded for?

I mean, it's not going to physically change a tire but is the answer to my question...

"..pretty much anything the main computer of the rig controls?"

I got the Tazer in on Wednesday, and new tires today. Adjusted the size right in the parking lot at the dealership and speeds were spot on for the ride home. I also love that I can turn on the DRL on the Sport without having to involve the dealer.

Question: If I install the Diode Dynamics switchback turn signals, do I still need the resistors or can I just set the front turn signals to LED in the Tazer menu?

Thanks! The volume does indeed turn down while it's ringing with the volume knob, but it doesn't seem to retain the lower volume setting. I'm sure I'm probably doing something wrong, but I'll keep trying. What makes it worse is that I have an amplified system, so level 15 is insane for a ring tone. Scares the $#!T out of me every time!

The switchback LED replacements used in this kit are for non-LED equipped Jeeps only. The factory LED-equipped Jeeps use a complete LED assembly and the BCM is programmed specifically for those components.

Not sure if this has been asked. Is there an option for enabling the lockers in 2WD (rear only) or 4HI (either rear, front, or both)?

I thought they don't work with the LED equipped Jeeps because there would be nothing to plug the bulb in to. In this scenario it would be a non-LED assembly but telling the Jeep that it is LCD.

Ask diodide dynamics but i think you might need the resistors.

Thanks for all the help guys. I decided on the Tazer JL because with the forum discounts it was barely more than the other options but seems like it has more features. Now I can throw my 34x11.50 tires on and not go to the dealership!
