Thank you everyone for your feedback and suggestions on this thread. I have yet to get my JLURD back from the dealer as they are still working through the high pressure fuel pump recall as well as my flaky USB port.
Just to keep the drama and discussion spirited and lively on this thread, I...
Ok, I just got a picture back from the dealer with the angle gauge on it. They say a picture is worth a thousand words.... this one is problably worth a bit less than that. Looking forward to taking it to Discount when I get it back from the recall work.
Whining does not sound good (no pun intended) at all. My JLURD does not whine at all and it sounds like you have set it up well - so I would definitely take it in if I were you to get it checked out.
Yes, just like watching an old movie where they move the steering wheel way to much as they are in a leisurely drive.
There was a recall or at least technical advisory on the steering pump and I had it replaced in ‘20 on my ‘18 JLUR. Made a world of difference.
This one has always been “looser.”
I am really appreciative of all the suggestions and thoughts. I did not mean to spark the “tire brand passion discussion” as I view that as very much a preference like “Ford vs Chevy” (cringing to see what that comment might cause 😂😇)
These are aftermarket 35 KO2’s purchased at Tire Rack in...
Ok, just got off the phone with the manager of the service department. Was able to get a more detail than what I received from my the service customer rep.
The steel belts in manufacturing did not line up correctly and and one belt is actually on top of the other which makes it so the overall...
This would have been its 3rd 5-tire rotation when I am being told this.
Driveability - I have felt the steering on this is way looser than my 2018, even though it is an identical setup as far as aftermarket equipment. I have owned a TJ LBW, JKUR and this is my second JLUR - so I am definitely...
I just received a call from the Jeep dealership where they are saying I need to replace my 35" KO2's at 11k miles on my '22 JLURD. They are saying they are worn at an angle and they have seen a few of them with that "production date" that need this. They are saying it is a problem with these...
yeah, I think that is the problem. They kept saying “without a trouble code, we cannot charge jeep for the repair so we cannot look into the problem.”
Is there a way to “reboot” the system? Unplug all batteries? Just trying to figure out the equivalent of “holding down the power button” on my...
On my ‘22 JLURD I was on a road trip when I got a check engine light. As it was evening in the middle of nowhere, I had it checked with a code reader at a auto parts store in a small town to make sure it was not bad to keep driving. Code P0403. We looked it up online and decided it was ok to...
You will love it.
One other thing now with some time with mine. I want a "liquid filled" pressure gauge as I get a crazy vibration with my gauge from my compressor. Everything else I absolutely love.
I have yet to find the gauge that I want - once I do - I will post it here.
I have been thinking about that, but I have to figure in this day and age with self-driving vehicles, waterproof interiors, and all the other cool tech companies are making nowadays, building it so the fan to push air through holes in the seats doesn't get ruined in a downpour doesn't seem like...
I love my JL. I really do, but the thing that just escapes me is why I can get ventilated seats on my (adequate) Cherokee (not even Grand - just adequate). But they just don't want to give me ventilated seats on the JL. I just don't get what is going on with that decision. Roof and doors off...
