Thanks for doing this. What is the website link on Amazon for the 2-hole countersunk screw version?

When I do a search for "TACCOM" one of the pages that comes up is for single hole version and the other is for a 2-hole version. Neither have the price listed.

Also, I'm in Canada.

Thanks!

Here's the US Amazon site for both versions.

TACCOM Sun Visor Clips (single hole)

TACCOM Compatible Heavy Duty Sun Visor Clips (2-hole)

The pic for the 2-hole doesn't show countersunk screws but it is just an old pic and I've read that all of the 2-hole versions are countersunk now. Those are the ones I have.

This might be a stupid question already answered somewhere in this thread............ but

Is the issue that the visor "joint / arm" can eventually pull through the factory location and fall out? And this just keeps that joint from falling through because it's creating a "catch point" / tighter space it can't fall through?

Trying to understand the mechanics of it.

Installed today, can confirm they reinforce good Sun visors, and fix broken ones.

Driver side is good, definitely tighter/ more snug as that visor was replaced. My passenger side is broke shortly after. These clips restore it to normal function. For $20, and made in the USA, these are a slam dunk.

Will post in more detail when I get a chance.

Just installed mine yesterday. My passenger side broke and now it’s back to normal. The driver’s side is pretty snug and pulls out that little plastic trim piece on the visor. Might have to sand it down a little. I bought the 2 hole version.

I was going to install it today ... and as luck would have it I found this problem for me

Can't see what the "problem" is. Do the exports have a different attachment set up for the visors?

Yeah, go to the fix pages for the EBay product or the Amazon product and they show a pic of a visor that has fallen out. There's a tapered nozzle/bezel that holds that assembly in. The additional clip prevents it from popping out. Gotta love Jeep engineers. Design for modification...

I wanted to fix my "kit with two screws" and one side touches so much that it removes the little rubber seal and if I plug the "sunshield", the screw + the plastic kit will completely rub and damage the "sunshield". I'll have to sand a part of the kit as shown by "Rhinebeck01".

What's the issue in the picture?
the thickness of the "kit with two screws" is too much and so it rubs and damages my "sunshield", I will have to sand as shown on the picture put by "Rhinebeck01" ... and probably even more than on the picture

Makes sense. I guess they are all a little different. I’ve yet to install mine and may have the same issue(s). I have the two screw, countersunk ones and hope they will clear, but if not, I’m sure I can take them down a bit.
