@Roky

NEED HELP!!! Fing Stock Drag link won’t come off at Pitman arm!!! Using Fork and used heat and penetrating fluid:
I've had pretty good luck using the technique suggested by @roaniecowpony, even when I can't isolate the part and get it on an anvil. If I have to do it in-place, its with a sledgehammer head on one side (as an anvil to react the impact force and prevent bearing damage) and using a hammer on the other side. Same idea - just flexing the metal a little to loosen the internal taper fit.

Tight fit in that area, but the more you can tap on it from different angles with this method the better. Bonus if you can get a puller on it and still have room to tap on it while pulling.

Just ordered a pitman arm puller that will come tomorrow morning by 8am…will see if I can make something work or at least get it done today

That will do it, I had to get one for the '24 JLR-X.
However when I did the the '20 JLR a few years ago it came off on about the third hit....

OH and @Roky, you will appreciate this “WTF”… the LAST Dynatrac Ball Joint to press in and the inside of the screwing press falls out…the ball bearing goes flying and rolling away…the press fell apart 😲

Luckily I had to make sure I put pressure on that pivoting end rod that went inside the threaded rod while positioning everything to press in the last Ball Joint…I was like, “Are you Fing kidding me!!!!” LOL

Basically, if it could go all wrong…it has been that way almost every step …. Very frustrating as I was looking forward to doing all this work myself and ALL the videos make it look SO EASY!!! NOT!!! LOL
I should have told you to leave the stock drag link alone...oh wait, I did. Haha.
