I've had pretty good luck using the technique suggested by @roaniecowpony, even when I can't isolate the part and get it on an anvil. If I have to do it in-place, its with a sledgehammer head on one side (as an anvil to react the impact force and prevent bearing damage) and using a hammer on the other side. Same idea - just flexing the metal a little to loosen the internal taper fit.@Roky
NEED HELP!!! Fing Stock Drag link won’t come off at Pitman arm!!! Using Fork and used heat and penetrating fluid:
Tight fit in that area, but the more you can tap on it from different angles with this method the better. Bonus if you can get a puller on it and still have room to tap on it while pulling.
