I've never liked or trusted the factory SS. IMO, they're weak. I wasn't having any steering issues at all but I changed mine out (at only 8700 miles) with a Bilstein. I could compress the factory SS with one hand, both hands needed for the Bilstein. đź’Ş
It isnt supposed to hold up the jeep its just supposed to help control oscillations inherent in a solid front axle suspension.

My factory stabilizer started wearing out at 15k, and I have 32" tires on stock wheels. Took it off and moved it by hand and I could hear it making bad noises.
Oh, I'm under no illusion that it does much of anything. But I've also driven for weeks without one at all. Just have to make sure that there is a TB brace, high quality TB, and joints, and good BJs and caster set around 6.6 degrees. And it goes down the road with nary a care. I only run the stock stabilizer for the rare occasion that some imperfection in the road want to grab a tire, it lessens the jerk.

I have not had any pull. I can take my hands off the wheel at highway speed and tracks straight..
Some people are more sensitive to pull than others. For those who are not very sensitive to it, I strongly recommend the AEV - it is perfectly valved. I have it on my Jeep now, as I am getting ready to trade it in - it is awesome.

Having said that, it is impossible to have a pressurized steering stabilizer (like the AEV or regular Fox) that is not through-shaft and not have a pull (actually a push) to one side. It is a pressurized shock that puts something like 50 lbs of force on the steering linkage. You may feel it or not, or your Jeep may have a natural pull in the other direction and you were incredibly lucky that it zeroed out. But physics is physics - that pressurized force in a non TS is there pushing in one direction all the time. It is not a lot, mind you. Most people won't notice. But I race and work on suspension/steering set up all the time, any pull annoys me.

My rough country dual steering stabilizer is great and has been great for my 37-in tires. Very smooth and handles a lot better than a single one by itself. Plus, $99 replacement stabilizers is a huge benefit. Any issues with one, it's pretty dang cheap to replace it.
I put the RC on my WJ to help cure death wobble and it has worked great.

I had the Falcon 2.2 adjustable and although very good, I never once adjusted it in three years. When I purchased my 2022 I added the Falcon 2.1 non-adjustable and am extremely happy on how it rides. No pull at all.

Ditto.

No pull for me. I have the relocation bracket too.

Just something else about the ATS stabilizers, any brand, for the lifted guys running without the FAD and not able to run optimal caster, you can turn up the adjustment to get a heavier steering feel…. It’s not as good as running 6+ degrees of caster but it does help….

I’ve noticed some say they get the jk version of the steering stabilizer? Any reason for that

I bought the JK version of the Fox ATS 2.0 just because of the mounting hardware that comes with it versus that awful JL bracket. I was not going to use the JL stock mounting locations and the JK version was just easier to work with. If you are mounting to the stock JL stabilizer mounts then get the JL version.
